@Ashwin, Fayad... you guys thinking of testing your speedo in TVM bypass??? :O Thats suicidal ok... If you really want to test the top end of your rides, take it to NH7... do a ride to Tirunelveli... There are many who can vouch for that strip of road...

BTW... uploaded the photos to the xbhp.tvm profile

    www.picasaweb.google.com/xbhp.tvm
NO..not for checking the top end..just for checking the speedo reading difference...like both bikes cruise at the same speed, and check the readings in both bikes to see the difference...in speeds like 50 or 60kmph...hope u got what i meant...

    btw nice pics lijo bro...

          • welcome to the brotherhood kannan so we got one more kannan in our gang!

Just came back home after a tiring energy crushing exploration com trekking, rode for some 300kms and got lost at many places asking directions!!
our aarunn also joined me in this ride along with my other two friends
but at the end feels happy on such a strenuous effort.. found a beautiful destination to plan a ride(errr but only after summer till the heat comes down )

Also I'm thinking to avoid any serious rides till summer gets over.. phew the heat is too much!!!

            • I had gone to see the Full Throttle competition. Most of the stalls had packed up and left. It started around 1630. But i must say, the location chosen was unplanned, inappropriate, and even dangerous.

A cliff on one side, dirt on the other. The usable part was smooth interlocking cement tiles, with dust and sand strewn about. Stoppies and burnouts just weren't happening. Everyone was slipping. After the first guy finished, two guys came with brooms and just swept the sand on the edges. But the main area was still sandy.

I stayed only for the first 4 teams. Repeated wheelies and stoppies, 8 min/team was getting boring. Of the ones i saw, Team 2, Ghostriders was the most cheer and clap grabbing. The others just mostly did wheelie, stoppie repeatedly. Team 2 did some variety and more effective stunts. Sorry guys no pics. Videos will probably come on utube, and that is better than any pics.

hi ayson..i was also there for the full throttle program...the place is indeed dangerous and unfit for stunting..still awestruck at what the team2 ghostryders abhi did...man cant take anything away from him..kept pulling out all the tricks in the book...wheelies stoppies no handers burnouts etc etc....simply awesome...the truth was that none of the others were able to reach anywhere near the level set by him( though others put up a good show as well)
met lots of xBhp brothers there..fayad,remy,sudeep,sidharth,rohit,shambu and others also

                    • Hi! after a long time......

                      Hi Trivandrum,

Its been a long time, but I have been updating myself with what is happening there. VERY VERY HAPPY TO SEE TVM XBHP grow bigger and more happening and at the same time SAD to see me missing all of this.
THe helmet awarness campaign was a pretty neat idea and from the photos I can guess that its a huge success. HATS OFF to one and ALL!

I have been posted at Infosys, Mysore and so will be here for quite some time. BUT i will not give up my riding spirit. This post is to let you guys know that I will be riding from Trivandrum to Mysore next week. A trip that I have been waiting to make for a long time. No doubt that I will keep you all posted about what happens and that too with photos.

Btw, just to confirm, are you all getting together this weekend. If so, please let me know where and when? I wanna make sure that I be there to see all of you.

                      Missing riding with you all,
                      iamarj
                      Ride SAFE! ^-^
                      Yours truly, HONDA ;)

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

                          • Thank you a.jayamohan

Thank you for the reply. As I said, I am in Mysore. Was undergoing training at Infosys, Mysore. If I was there, I would have definitely been a part of a campaign, because I strongly believe in riding safe!

Btw, its so nice to see you all get togther very frequently. I missed meeting you guys at Manaveeyam road by a couple of hours. Did ride through but didn't see anyone.

Let me know when next, and I'll be there!

                            Thanks again!

ya tried to explore eraniel palace ruins and ulakkai aruvi falls.. the latter failed due to exhaustion and lack of time
So will be trying that again after summer since we know the route now
