And how about a pedestrian footpath usage awareness campaign like the helmet campaign you guys did. People seem to like to walk right on the road even when there are 4-6 ft wide pavements. Really clogs up the road and makes life for slow lane users like me miserable.

Maybe we could get some permissions and find some good stretch of pavement to ride on, to show that if pedestrians keep encroaching on the road, then vehicles have to go on the pavement.

Nice thought mate... But we are bikers more than of a pedestrian... so ths point we can also include in the Road safety subject What I try to plan is 2 or 3 hours of lecture about Road saftey by various experts from different fields from our society and also make a chance to display Road saftey accessories(Riding gears) for our sponsor's benifit...so that we can manage the expenses by sponsors It is just like a summer_carnival atmosphere Ths s the best way of get a link with public ,traffic authorities and media and they will never under estimate the image of xbhp members for the social causes. xBhp member is not a mere biker but a responsible citizen too wt u say guys? will meet u all today at 6pm Manaveeyam road.

the idea is very good. i would like to add a suggestion about the sponsor issue. SCT college of engineering is having a road safety club which is a government initiative. it has got funds too. no much activities are happening there. since we have a few of our college mates here, we could approach the club. i don't know if it will happen. but nothing wrong in trying.

and if it doesn't turn out successful please don't judge me on it

You r welcome mate But I doubt that ths club can do something about sponsorship to xBhp bcoz of so many reasons! well, we never blame u for a try but will recognize u with gratitude for your attempt. Hope to see u in the evening.

Although couldnt attend the G2G Jayamohan chettan told about the plan.... And its a good idea on the seminar..

I think we need to find a way to grab maximum attention from all round the city and have to pull in maximum crowd to our seminar.I still think we lacked some 'SERIOUS' attention on our helmet awareness campaign.. And we must find out what and all we missed in it! So shall we start the discussions officially??
