There is an association called 'IRON BUTT ASSOSIATION' IBA - World's Toughest Motorcycle Riders who certifies hardcore riders who completes their course.

But its designed for US only.

There are only two Indians who have finished their course that too because they could access the express highway.

For their minimum membership, we have to cover 1000mile ie 1600 Km in 24 hours. Its almost like impossible on Indian roads. Bcoz if we could ride 20Hrs out of 24Hrs, then we would have to have an average speed of 80Km/hr which is not possible.

I wonder if anyone can organize such an event in India with Indian speed limits and road conditions in mind....

I believe, if we can organize such a competition from the part of xbhp with the aid of some sponsors, it would be a large hit. May be we'll talk about this in our next meeting...

He hehe congrats I just completed 30,000 1year and 3 months wish to cross 1,00,000 before engine warranty void...

@Bharath, That is a nice thought! But we(xBhp) have a centralised management..need permission for that. Me too wish there may be some small competition like(state wise or district wise) Best Rider, Best turn out rider & bike and Best maintained bike etc etc...We should issue Authorised certificates for that. Ths will enable ppl for a better understanding with xBph. Only my view

I bought the Pennzoil SAE140 gear oil.... Its good..

Man i was looking for SAE140 gear oil, but it was not available at many shops hence bought SAE90... from where did you buy it?

Frm an oil shop @ pongumoodu.... Its a good shop. Have a lot of brands there.. There was also a Motul SAE-140 oil. I went for Pennsoil.

Jayamohan chettan also told me about that shop, but i can't find it... i checked in the petrol bunk in pongomodu.... where exactly is that shop?

when you go from pongomudu to sreekaryam on the right shop is after the petrol pump after the hdfc bank.

Today me and noel visted that shop....I told them about xBhp members in Trivandurm.... just checked for Motul 15x50 300v fully synthetic engine oil for my bike...But not found They have a stock of 20x40 and 15x50 mineral oil (Motul brand) But they assured me that stuff next week

I saw Motul chain cleaner and chain lubrication spray there...costing below Rs500/- Good for O ring chain of zma,R15,RTR,Fz,P220 etc.

@Ayson.. hey, Ex jawan shop is at chettitta, Akhil knows the exact location and the owner's ph no I know I will get that Motul synthetic there..but I was staying near by pogumood so I prefer near by shop

btw i bought some kinda gear oil for lubing my chain.its highly viscous and red in colour is that good for lubing?

He hehe, we need both ....but our main aim is to popularise the true biking spirit apart from mere competition. So many other organisations are there for that purpose

Viswanath, never disappoint that shop owner..he bought that chain lube for you Better quality but frankly it can use only for 5 to 8 times Better you buy a Pennizole 140 grade gear oil.. 500ml for near Rs120/-...u can use it for 6 months
