  • @aswin - wait till 3rd service... for me also the mileage was bad between 2nd and 3rd service.... once went down to 32-33 roughly... at 3rd service tell them about it. There could be variety of reasons for low mileage - incorrect AFR, loose chain, air pressure, riding style etc...
AFR and chain - get them checked at SVC
Air - better fill Nitrogen... its good and pressure lose is less. I've only filled N2 in ma ride, and that too only 4 times in 6 months...
Riding style - I cannot comment on that... coz whatever way i ride, my mileage doesnt drop below 38... and I dont think you ride in such a way as to affect mileage so badly...

finally..... dont worry too much... machines malfunction all the time... its just a matter of tightening the right bolt

Ask them to retune/clean the carb, spark plugs. Clean air filters too... I dont think SVC people do these even for the free services!

Hope you have completed 4000km...then just fill the semi synthetic for another 1000km then switch over to motul
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

I fill from the same place.. but I'm happy with it... pressure lose is very less... in two months the drop is less than 3 points...

                            1) Can you please guide me there, ie. directions.

                            2) Directions for Ex-Jawan too please, I looked in PH rd. today, but didn't find. Im bad at finding stuff while riding.

                            3) I need a torque wrench, anyone, please suggest a shop.

                            4) I also have some paintjob / touch up work to do. Please suggest a shop with good workmanship. I need a full black paint job on the front fork outer tube, the silver step holders, and touch up for Wheel edges, Frame near Batt. compartment, engine. They have scratches, batt acid damage, paint peeled off.

                              • There is a street painter at Museum side...Just take a left turn in front of Trivandrum corporation office and go thru the road to cliff house. you can see a small painting shop left side after the kanaka nagar. and right side you can see a car accessory shop as a marking

It is a small painting shop and he is doing the alloy wheel painting..engine painting etc etc with cheap cost. Very affordable..I am planning to change golden colour for my disc caliper and stock alloys
