BTW if we are going to the JLR then we had to take different route, if we go by BR hills it will be slower and longer route. we have to plan out the route and be very clear about it. but i still doubt if all will be ok with overnight stay. there are still 3 weeks to go, so we can discuss about it.

Abhi - ~3.5k(considering 5% discount) is actually a good deal for a JLR package, had i not had prior commitments I would surely have joined in. My suggestion is if Suraj and/ or your car friend are equally keen on this, you should go ahead with the overnight package.

TeeJayy, please do not do this to me. With great difficulty I convinced myself on not staying back

Anyway, I agree that the deal is good but I think I will stick with the group for this time. Will plan this some other time with family. Probably drive down.

Lets stick to the day ride guys.And i really dont think the safari there will be worth.Bandipur would be much better option for the night stay and safari.So the DAY ride it is

We can hit NICE road from BTM bus stop (that should fully wake us all up

), get out on the Kanakpura road and get along. I think everyone agrees on avoiding Mysore road.
But since we are leaving early morning, traffic on Mysore road would be sparse (I hope). We might want to reconsider.
