hey i know u asked this to suraj, but thought of letting you know, i recently went to bheemeshwari, via kanakpura, and the road till kanakapura was good, but after that we deviated towards bheemeshwari. it was this route Biligirirangan Hills - Google MapsOriginally posted by abhisheksircar View PostSuraj, few quick inputs before we freeze on this.
1. How is the road to BR Hills ?
2. How long (Both distance and time) is the ride, one way ?
3. What is the suggested route you recommend ? (On google map)'On the Road that never ends...'

Thanks Ron. So if that's the location, we are talking about 4 hrs ride, one way, covering 185 kms. Which is very much a weekend ride if we leave REALLY early. I will not like waking up really early but for riding, why not !Originally posted by Ron Syl View Posthey i know u asked this to suraj, but thought of letting you know, i recently went to bheemeshwari, via kanakpura, and the road till kanakapura was good, but after that we deviated towards bheemeshwari. it was this route Biligirirangan Hills - Google Maps
Suraj, all set to lead us to the hills ?
BTM to BR Hills
Guys, do consider an overnight trip. The safari over there looks immense.
Going to hibernation for sometime. Few things to catch up with at work. Please take this forward from here.Last edited by abhisheksircar; 05-07-2012, 03:37 PM.

3 . there are 2 routes , i went through mysore road , Bangalore-Maddur-Malavalli-Kolegal-Yellandur-Chamrajnagar-BR Hills and the other route is the one ronnie is talkin about which i dont know. After taking deviation from maddur its a straight road to br hills . Google map is showing the kanakpura route .

Hey Guys I did a ride to mysore yesterday.. Riding through Mysore road is horrible.. Too much traffic.. n if yu consider weekend its more.
Why cant we have short break fast rides b4 goin 4 a long.. I used to go to Mulbagal in Kolar.. 4 just having a coffee. The road is Awesome with no traffic. Last tym a Ninja did 280+ there.
Wen r we planning 4 the ride?Ride Safe! Journey is more important than destination

guys i think NH 209 is better bet, as i said earlier that we took deviation from kanakapura, i was wrong, we took deviation from halaguru. so it means that 80kms of road is good. so the remaining 100kms of road i have no clue but should be good enough to ride
actually because of the twisty roads the distance seems to be more, but we can cover it sooner.

The reply looks encouraging. Since you have been there, please plan up the route and we will stick by it. Just go for the best roads, even if it is longer.Originally posted by suraj_vanse View Post1. Roads are good abhishek.

A ride to Kolar would just require a phone call, meet up and have coffee. Let us know Sachin. For the BR hills one we are looking at 2Jun2012 as of now.Originally posted by royaldesigner View PostWhy cant we have short break fast rides b4 goin 4 a long.. So guys, shall we lock on to BR Hills, 2June2012, 0600 hrs IST ?Last edited by abhisheksircar; 05-07-2012, 04:46 PM.

Good point Sachin. No Mysore road. We will take the Kanakpura route for our BR hills ride.Originally posted by royaldesigner View PostHey Guys I did a ride to mysore yesterday.. Riding through Mysore road is horrible.. Too much traffic.. n if yu consider weekend its more.
Now, our definition of long rides is nothing less than Goa! But yes, we can catch up for such bfast rides too.Originally posted by royaldesigner View PostWhy cant we have short break fast rides b4 goin 4 a long.
