Sunday Ride

I know. Almost everybody from Delhi/NCR will have fond memories of Cheetal Grand as most of us on our familiy trips used to halt there. Lets go the memory lane, 15-18yrs back.

Dude I have been to that root, as per the number of people joining in for this Sunday ride, that place is not good because of many reason, I have been there 2 weeks back,
few of the reasons are
Road condition (because of the monsoon)
We have a huge group to ride with
Traffic on that road really starts rolling on that road in morning because of weekends because of short connectivity between UP & Delhi

What we can do right now, we can note down the place & sure we will ride to that destination in near future

Now let me just tell me benefits of going Dumduma lake,
Too short run (55 km from Dhaba)
Traffic though Faridabad & Gurgaon both places is very less
We will get Wide road to ride
for food we have many option in between the track & a well maintained place is at the bank of lake

So cheer up & lets get everything rolling ...

I felt apart from giving suggestion we can also try for a poll for this sunday ride so i have attached a link of Google form

Please fill it as soon as possible by Friday day end so that destination can decided by Friday & Plan can be decided by Saturday

And finally we can have great fun with good riding techniques

Vikas: Hey bro, no offence, but we have done group ride in that stretch too. It takes a lot of time when riding with a large group. Everyone will try to return back in 3-4 hours time, especially the married lot like me. Nobody in XBHP is afraid of any road or traffic. But yes, when the aim is to ride in a group & enjoy the Sunday morning, then we must choose a place which will suit us all. Cheetal Grand is good place to be but trust me brother, we will have a quite tough time riding in such big group.

actually damdama I kept as main option after reading the thread & another option to put other suggestion also & consider them also if we have many people rolling in

The form which you created is not good enough...
If a person select Dumdama Lake and click on submit, he/she should not get option for filling a text box which says "If you want to go some where else in 0-70 KM please suggest *"

My humble request to you is to kindly fix this ASAP...

Thanks for the welcome! Since the ride has been planned for Sunday, there's going to be lesser traffic on roads. And anyway, do you expect the people on road at 5-6am? I have recently been on this road. As mentioned by me previously, the road conditions aren't bad. Infact Meerut Bypass is one hell of a road to rip our machineries.

Vikas as said before the destination for group ride has been decided for this coming Sunday i.e. Dumduma Lake. And hence all should stick to it. yes your venue would be considered for upcoming rides in future. So dont feel sad.
