Details like destination etc. will be shared once its finalised. But I don't think you will really need to bother your boss for leaves since there is a lots of possibilities this being a one day ride on a saturday or sunday.

My expectation was too high , if it is a one day ride than not a problem at all, hope to see drop in temperature.....

Hoodibaba: Sir.. firstly, congratulations for completing this massive tour. One hell of a tour sir. Eagerly waiting to hear about your trip in detail.

Just thought of sharing.

I went on a short trip to Shimla (Time crunch) with my family. No bike trip. by train & car. As soon as we hit the hills after Kalka, my mind was flashing the images from my previous trips on bike. I couldn't help but feel bit sad even though I was with my family. The very thought of sweeping the mountain roads with my bike made me think of ditching the car & get onto my bike. Unfortunate enough, the biking scene has taken a pause for the moment in my life.
3 Nights of stay got me to relax a bit. The weather there is still good if one compares with Delhi. On our way back near Solan, I saw a familiar looking bike & biker (Helmet) riding ahead of us with another bulleteer. The rider was none other than Rohit earstwhile XBHPian DCS riding on black ZMR (Guess it was previously owned by Ravi bhaiya). I couldn't control myself but scream out his name & he was surpised to see me there! What a co-incidence!! He was off to Kasauli to have his morning tea on a lazy but eventful Sunday. The meeting was brief but I enjoyed a lot.

This tells me that the biker within me hasn't died yet but resting in hope that it will wake up to a beautiful sunshine someday.

Just to add. Saw couple of more bikers zooming ahead of us. One Ninja, one CBR, one R15 (perhaps). There was an huge assembly of bikers just before Kalka bypass where those 3 guys stopped there too. May be some XBHPians can throw more light on that,

Okay guys,

This coming sunday we are meeting at the dhaba at 7 a.m. to welcome Hoodibaba sir back to Delhi after his Bhutan ride.

He will be sharing his ride pictures and travelogues obviously on the forum, but nothing better to hear the stories from the man himself over a cup of tea.


So lets gather at the dhaba one more time to meet and greet Hoodibaba sir.



Also we are trying to get one more special guest, a veteran biker and a writer from UK who has been traveled all over the world on a motorcycle. I will update about it as soon as we have a confirmation from him.

I am very positive to listen to your recent experiences Sir and will try my best to be there ........... this one may be my "first attendance" at official gatherings but not the first at dhaba !!

go to maps.google.com

after the page loads click on the "Get Directions" button .......... type your location at "A" and in "B" enter xBhp Dhaba ......... (and the search suggestions will flash) choose the one and there you go

just in case you have an android phone, share this map direction to yourself (or save it) and use the navigation feature/app to have point-to-point guidance on the go !!
