I and my group of riders (7 of them) would be visiting the xbhp dhaba at around 4-5pm today, sunday the 13th. We have duke 200s, R15s and CBR 250s. Hope to see some riders there.

Possibilities are more on Sunday mornings instead of evening...

Is it just me or some of you bikers too feel that the Delhi chapter is appearing way too numb as compared to the Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore etc !! No enthusiasm, no long rides - not even a single coffee ride in a Month

Please enlighten me if I am missing any point .......... the threads & pages of those cities are active like anything while we here get just a few occasions in 3-4 months to re-kindle that feeling of being a family .......... I hope I will have a bright reply from seniors, mods & super mods on my expression.

@xpranav : I tried for a ride few pages back, but no-one paid any heed. Honestly I have ran out of options to make the Delhi Chapter alive like it used to be. I miss 2008-2009 g2gs and rides. Honestly Sundays look more of a munching parathas than planning/talking of any rides. Other chapters are doing mega g2gs and we are sitting idle. I dont know who is to be held responsible for this, but I have given up on this.

The Triumph showroom is slated to open on 28 Nov in Gurgaon. I am waiting for the Bonneville. Could any member of the Delhi Chapter please check up about the price, booking, delivery etc details and PM me? I am posted at Rajkot and will drive up to Delhi/down to Bangalore to get the bike.

[MENTION=13887]prateek2210[/MENTION] : I think this was beautifully put by some veteran. This is a cycle. Guys will come - meet up - plan out rides - make close riding buddies - move away from the dhaba scene and keep riding or move on to other pursuits in life - Repeat with new set of people. There is nothing to be frustrated about here.
On a personal note, I never liked those dhaba paranthas and couldn't wrap my head around so many people just chit-chatting talking about stuff when I felt they should be riding (Just my opinion. Apologies if it sounds judgemental or rude).
I now prefer the occasional long ride or a quick getaway to the Murthal dhabas for 'REAL' paranthas - solo or with close buddies.
Going again this weekend. Happy to tag along with others if people are ready to ride at the break of dawn in full gear. After 7 ish, the sonepat police starts handing out challans for speeds greater than 50kmph. Have filled government coffers with 400Rs challan many times now.
