P.S:[/B] I know what happened in the G2G past Sunday - the drag racing and the subsequent police intervention and all the drama that followed. I would sincierly request the members who were a part of the drag racing NOT TO COME for the forthcoming G2Gs, least of all this upcoming evening G2G. I won't name them openly on the forum, but if they are reading this post, they would surely know that I am talking about them.

OK.. this time the sunday!
SUVRAT and SiddarthTomar started to drag about on the area.. and they were toldm by ravi bhaiya,not to do so.,.. still taking the advantage to ride an R-15 which he hasnt..he got his hands on it..
and the other guy on extreme to flaunt its modification..

And also they were not ready to accept it... later!

One of them is also a member in CBI ,i think.. and we the first one to leave!

The g2g's are spelled 'get to-gethers'. A time for camaraderie, for sharing stories and experiences and planning for new ones. Now, where does the 'I am faster/quicker/bolder/more skilled/better than you' come into the picture? What purpose does the mindless wringing of throttles on poor little hard-pressed commuters serve? Those high rpm entries and screaming first gear 'redline' exits that hammer away at the innards of the bhp-starved engines are nothing more than the 'comparo' disease coming alive. And that 'comparo' is nothing but a compulsive craving for that 'ego' fix. Is that all there is to group motorcycling??

C'mon guys....Rossi started at age six...had a father who had more years in motorcycling than we can imagine...and had resources that would put the best of B schools to shame. All that and his talent put him where he is. None of us is even going to get close to him...however hard we wring those throttles and however many times we scrape those knee-sliders. The most we can do with our bikes is to enjoy motorcycling, enjoy togetherness and so enjoy life. Get together to really get together. Competetion and comparisions stifle learning. All discovery ends at conclusion....I can/cannot do that...why??

The meets must serve a purpose..of making us better motorcyclists..and a motorcyclist is not 'just' a rider. He is a person who has many more facets than just the ability to twist the wrist, lean on curves and ride hard. Let the motorcyclist dominate the togetherness....and not just the rider. Keep the competition for the one you really need to compete against..you yourself. Make friends with others.

well whatever happened last time at g2g was not right all the stunting and dragging should be kept for some isolated place where we all can try and learn too but not at our G2G place....

as rightly said by Old Fox Sir that g2g is a place to meet and discuss.... so let us keep it that way... its not good if xbhp lands in another headline of some newspaper and that also for wrong reason...

About the evening ride I am not so sure but yeah grouping up at India Gate would be tough specially with current security issues so as rightly said by Abhishek we should ride in small groups and maintain the discipline on road...

been reading all the posts. OF da jawab nahin!!!
There is an ACP office near our dhaba. Doing stunting, dragging & all those non sense stuff at that stretch makes no sense. And I think we have now invited trouble coz I am sure next time any big gathering of our group will be carefully watched upon by the cops. If you guys have ever noticed, a PCR van always does a recon of that area after 30-40 mnts.
Now, India gate G2G would be wonderful provided that there is absolutely no insane stuff shown by our esteemed members. That area is one of the MOST secure places, not only in Delhi but whole of India. Its the power centre of India. And police there cant be bribed, cant be reason with & cant be threatened with "source"
Just a thought. If there are ladies in that G2G, we would be considered as sober gang by others. So if you guys can bring your GFs, wife, Fiance...

For your kind information During leaning session we were in gurgaon not in Delhi and haryana police looks after that area.Is it clear and i don't want any miss happening over there in gurgaon that's why i said to leave that place..I think so you are not aware of Haryana police ask C_SBK he will tell you better... If you don't know the whole scenario than please don't discuss that topic and don't comment on it...

So, there should NOT be any stunts. Period. Suvrat might be in CID or for that matter in the Scotland Yard; he can try his hands at dragging back in England!

This is true as well.

But in the presence of the fairer sex, we at least pretend to be better behaved. Which leads to lesser potential to a "problem" creating situation. And this may lead to the Authorities being a "little" lenient. But one stunt and you are screwed!
