The Official Delhi Offline Meet(G2G) Thread

Karnal is 120 Km from Delhi on NH1..we can meet at lane at 8 and can start from there till karnal Zilmil or hewali as both are very close to each other is all the straight highway road covering almost 280 km up down ...
please let me know the conformation

if u can check my join date, u'll find i am not new. i had some rough time and wasnt participating in xbhp events. i have already introduced my self in "who r u" thread, twice. but what so eva, thankx for guiding me through process.
and i love my signatures...

I can come on in this ride but my bike does have overheating problem as of now. Also I am not sure whether a KA reg bike would be harrassed in Haryana

Chintu bhai analysed that my piston rings were gone and the compression wasn't upto the mark. So should I ride along ? Ill just carry an extra bottle of Engine oil to compensate for the oil getting burnt.

Hey Aryan,

Well, it would be great to have more of such g2gs in the future, but since the idea was already conceived, it would be unfair to cancel/postpone it for at least all those who have their biking gears ready for the trip the day after. And hey, I am not saying we cannot have another one the next weekend

But looking forward to meeting other xbhpians & attending more of g2gs.

We will have to start off at 07:30 am. And this is a kind request, please do not be late. We seriously cannot afford to waste time in this one. We will be taking the following route out of Delhi

Lajpat Nagar - Sarai Kale Khan ISBT - Indrapastha Marg (DDA Office) - Main ISBT - Tibetian Mkt
The Road from there takes straight to the Delhi Border.

All should be wearing helmets & carry their vehicle documents. There will be absolutely NO DRAGS. The roads are very good, quite wide.

Please suggest a common meeting point in Delhi

After reaching Karnal we will call up either DCS or Blackfire & co-ordinate.

I don't think I'll be able to teach you guys anything. If I (hopefully) manage to rent a bike, I'll be looking to the Delhi XBHPers to guide me through the streets of Delhi in one piece. LOL. I hear it's mad on the roads.

I'd love to get a ride there and I'm bringing my biking gear, so if anyone knows where I can rent a machine for a few days or just on the 22nd & 29th March for a run with you, I'd appreciate the info.

Okay, guys need some serious suggestions here regarding the upcoming Sunday's G2G. Let us make it into a nice, comfortable 'Valentine's Day' g2g. A shortish ride could be thought upon, but based on my prior experience(s), I would suggest something inside the city premises would be good enough.

It might not neccessairily be a cliched dhaba g2g, but some place where we could sit with our respected girlfriends, spouses and talk everything motorcycling would really be favoured (atleast by me)!

Just a suggestion.
There is a kiosk in R K Puram which serves sasta but good south indian dosas. You guys can have something over there & then the gang can ride to Hauz Khas dear park & get to know the sober half of the bikers
