Chintu bhai analysed that my piston rings were gone and the compression wasn't upto the mark. So should I ride along ? Ill just carry an extra bottle of Engine oil to compensate for the oil getting burnt.

Would recommend you to be pillion. On my bike, eh? No one can hassle you if you got KA registration.

We had a 2 day (overnight) ride back in August 2007 (if I remember correctly) whereby many of us went to Chhail (Himachal) and had a gala time. Probably, if members willing, we can have a similar ride sometime soon.

Isnt that a verrrrrrrrrrry long way back. High time to make a biggie asap. I just need any company, even a single fellow rider would do. Maybe we can plan something to Mt. Abu. or any other suggestions.I m wanting to go for a 1000+ ride (at least), within a month from now.Or if somebody knows somebody who has plans for a long ride in the near future, could possibly help me get in touch.

@Xeno: Harassment is something that you should be least bothered about. Chill. As for your bike problem, being a pillion (like RX mentioned) would be advisable. You wouldn't want to keep checking your bike's engine oil every few kilometres now, will you?

Aryan its not that bad though, I have to check like every 100kms or so. And bike's overheating a bit. If I can get it fixed tomorrow then no worries !

let's see I can come pillion as well. but I hate being a pillion (samjho bhi )

In Delhi & NCR nothing happens if you ride KA, MH or any other state number. It is mostly in the Southern India (that I have experienced) that cops give trouble to outside state numbers. I had a scooter on MH number that I used for 10+ years in Haryana & Delhi. Aryan's P180 has got a Meghalaya registration number till date, if I remember correctly.

Some of you know of me on xbhp and that I'm coming to Delhi between the above dates.

Are there any G2Gs around then. Would I be able to join you/meet up with you?

I'd like to hire a bike when I'm out there but would need pointing in the right direction as far as rentals go if there are any. I would consider it an honour to ride with xbhpers when I'm there.

I've been riding for over 30 years on many and variuos bikes from Z900s in the 1970s and 80s to R1s / ZX9Rs/Harleys in the 1990s and 2000s. That said, I understand that the roads are a wee bit busy there!!! Pointing in the right direction would be appreciated!!

@all: What is the final plan, because I see a lot of confusion in both this as well as the Chandigarh G2G thread! I would request someone to post a thread up with the relevant details - a FINAL plan, that is.
