Dabchick seems to be a good options enroute. About a 100kms. from Delhi, situated at Hodal.Originally posted by rx100.7050 View PostDo we need any place to chill out???

As for riding to Agra, by the time the group would reach Agra, it would atleast be 9am - 10am easily (considering the group starts at 6, 6:30am or so), and then the light won't really be suitable to shoot the Taj (if the plan is go click the Taj Mahal, that is)!Dabchick is a scenic locale situated along the Delhi-Agra highway, is 92 km south of Delhi. Conceived by landscapers, who planted draping vernonia, bright bougainvillea and casuarinas in well-planned stretches, the place had been transformed into one of the favorite picnic spots of the district. Cottages built on stilts are another point of attraction.
Spots worth visiting around include the Karna Lake, the historic Kishori Mahal at Hodal and Saras.Last edited by Aryan; 02-05-2009, 11:38 AM.:)

Dabchik Tourist Complex is located at Hodal, a small town in Faridabad District of Haryana. Spread over 13 acres of land, the resort offers comfortable living in single rooms, deluxe rooms, cottage, and camper huts.
Air-conditioned restaurant, gift shop, conference room, fast food counter and filling station are the added conveniences. A small lake behind the complex gives the resort a scenic charm with camel, elephant and pony rides. Hodal is 90 km south of New Delhi.
Sounds good dada"HASTA LA VICTORIA, SIEMPRE !" - Chesigpic

The lake is what is the most attractive part of Hodal, but I doubt whether there would be any water in the lake at this time. I have no idea. Moreover, the expenses are also to be kept in mind. It would not be right to ride so far to find out that something as simple as a Coke costs Rs.50/-! That would be murderous!
Another option could be 'Kosi' situated on the Delhi - Agra highway (NH-2), about 40kms. from Mathura. There is a resort, I guess, but then again the prices would be little steep as compared to our trusted xBhp dhaba!
If the members can afford somewhat expensive food/ beverages, then the group can also ride to the Aravali resort, situated on NH-8.
There are quite a number of places, actually. But, there needs to be a unanimous consensus on this.

True sir,
What about Bandhav's suggestion? That would be great if we go all the way to Agra. By 6:30am we can start from a designated place (Dhaba or Lane) It would be awesome. Weather is also good these days. It will be awesome fun to ride together"HASTA LA VICTORIA, SIEMPRE !" - Chesigpic

I only see you participating in this discussion majorly! Where are the other Delhi xBhpians? If this remains the case, then I doubt whether you would be the only one riding the 204 odd kms. alone. And believe me riding for so long on the plains is NOT my idea of fun, atleast.Originally posted by rx100.7050 View PostTrue sir,

Anyhow, I doubt I can manage a long ride this Sunday. But, I am keeping my options open anyways. Let's see where this discussion heads, and accordingly a new thread could be put up by tomorrow max!:)

Just like Xeno, I'm too keeping a watch on this thread!
All men dream, but not equally. Those that dream at night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act upon their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible. - T. E. Lawrence
