It was an amazing Sunday morning ride. Thanks to all xBhpians who turned up that day. We need to now make it a regular habit of doing such rides and meets. Next ride will to Old Rao Dhaba or Murthal. What do you say guys?

Sunil bhai, the pics are as usual at its best, but just a pointer. There are pics where the person driving the Harley or CBR doesnt have a protective gear - a jacket. But we at xbhp constantly raise voice during g2g or in this forum to use these protective gears, but posting such pics is like going contradicting to it. Isnt it.

Thanks buddy! We at xBhp have always been trying to educate people about the importance of wearing riding gear. Wearing a helmet is a must to join xBhp G2Gs. you'll never find a pic of a helmetless rider on xBhp. And we always recommend our members to invest on quality riding gear apart from the helmet, i.e., jacket/gloves, boots, etc. The more the merrier. However, it has never been a mandatory thing to join xBhp G2Gs. The reason behind is that these G2Gs are like the primary school for new bikers most of whom are not aware of the importance of wearing proper riding gear or consider them as a thing to show-off. But once they join the G2Gs and interact with more 'evolved' bikers, they start to understand the importance of it and eventually end up buying it and wearing it regularly. If we stop them from joining G2Gs, they might never get a chance to understand the importance of wearing a proper riding gear. Think of a scenario where the schools won't give admission to kids in kindergarten because they can't tell how much is 2+2 or the medical colleges refusing admission to students who can't perform heart transplant.

Just go around xBhp and ask the members, you'll find thousands and thousands of such 'converts' who bought riding gear after they started attending the G2Gs. I am one of those converts.

Superb pictures Sunilg, we had lots of fun that Sunday. Although some of us use to come to Dhaba almost every Sunday, but this Sunday was so joyful and learning for all of us. Lets plan for many more

This post is not directed towards anybody. Just a generic observation.

I used to share some of Prateek's cynicism with respect to the dhaba culture. Personally never understood why we have to munch those oily paranthas and chit chat when we could be out there riding. Also, maybe my timing was wrong but saw lot of people riding lidless (gear - what gear!), drooling over SBKs, treating some as celebrities and making a show of simple things. Many 'old' members in various cities(I can call myself that after 8 years) have had similar reservations and have become disenchanted either with the forum quality or with the direction which xBhp has taken and have logged off.

But, as sunilG said - it happens. When I started off, i had zilch idea about gears apart from a helmet. Met up with some folks on the forum and connected with many offline and learned stuff and planned rides. Putting my arse on a bike for 22 hours was possible only because I saw examples like LoveMax and KurtRules. The romanticism of biking was kindled by reading OldFox (A personal favorite "") and I found some good people to ride with. Many of us have moved on - to different forums, different means or have become tied up with family stuff. My touring has been limited to annual Ladakh rides, a couple of quick 3 days and primarily long distance car drives. The only way I give back to the forum is by helping people on the ladakh planner threads or by replying to PMs about the same as I remember that when I was starting off I too needed this guidance.

So what is the big deal. Xbhp is a platform and we are the journeymen. A newer breed comes along with all its shenanigans and hopefully converts itself into mature motorcyclists through the platform. As long as this keeps on happening I wish more power,good vibes and success to the team.

P.S: That dhaba has lots of rats too. Why bother. Ride. The idea is not to be just a xbhpian/bcmtian/60kpher/roadshaker/anyothername. The idea is to be a rider.

I was in Mumbai from 3 years, riding a bit in Maharashtra and around and now I'm back to home (UP14).
Fun was riding in MH with a UP14 Pulsar, Always at the peak of getting caught :P


Ok, so back to topic.
I'm not able to find a genuine reseller / shop for Motul.
I need Motul 5100 - 15W50.
I've been using the Motul website > Locate dealer. But most of the dealers around Ghaziabad are saying we don't have Motul anymore or the number is not working.


I need a shop around Ghaziabad - East Delhi.

In mumbai I was able to locate a distributor and so I was getting direct 100rs discount on any bottle :P
If that's possible. Please let me know!

Hey guys need some info regarding a 3 day trip to Binsar in the month of July.
How would the weather be there around mid July.
Are the roads there safe for bikes if we encounter heavy rains by that time.

You are going to face rain if you will do this trip round 15th or post 15th next month, I would say it is almost safe unless you face very heavy rain. Roads are almost fine and smooth in that area.

Looking at your bike, no one can guess that it has done 1 Lak Kms. It looks like a 10K done bike.
