Living in Mumbai from 3 years made me quite addictive to Sunday rides, specially in these months. But back to home and here I am in this thread and well luckily it's quite good weather in Delhi NCR also. ��

If anyone riding tomorrow please tag me, msg me.
Or just share the idea of some location so that I ride alone?


Need something like 120-150km a side.
I'll be riding my Pulsar220.

I can suggest a place to go to a near by lake, rainy season would have made them full of water and greenery around all around them. What about Damdama Lake

Sorry Monk... but twice I went to there and tried to break in with the junta but all I found was that each group was too busy with themselves. And no neither am I saying that there should be some welcome desk or some ritual but all I am suggesting that if it could be made easier to make new buddies. So I said rather than going to the dhaba being a part of a G2G helps more.

Sorry, I don't want to comment anything now

I guess its a result of too many factors such as:
1. Only a few people who we interact with here comes there.
2. Of that few people the timings vary, so at a random point, even lesser people from here.
3. Of available there at any instant, nobody knows whom or who.

I know, i am good at making matters looks like very serious but then whats the fun without it.
BTW my lazy bum refused to get out again this sunday, so sweets i actually bought finished just an hour before.

Back to the problem:
I guess a planned setup something like a G2G or a group ride is better to break in the new people. Like the new RC guy in your outing to old raos. So guys, i am going to make it this time by 7-7.30 there and would remain there till 9 or so. Any body who may be expected please let us know, so i have an idea as to how many total figure i need to scan there, plus how many sweets i may need.

For a group ride i am also in. Damdama lake, Sukhdev Dhaba, Sultanpur Lake.

I am still looking for new places, where we can ride to early morning and be back say by noon or afternoon.

You can check out dasna cannal near ghaziabad. Not sure abt water level these days. Won't be able to join this Sunday. Sure for next one.

There were so many places around Mumbai, all you need is petrol and to get up early :P

Well after being back here I knew it's going to be a bit problem for Sunday rides 😂

I'll see if I could find something from friends and map!

Sird Sunday rides were planned before with same level people who used to love riding rather than being at dhaba.

We used to love going to MacD in Manesar which used to be a good 40 odd kms and yes this MacD is open 24hrs, many times I have done solo rides from Ghaziabad to MacD Manesar which used to be around 60 or 70 odd kms.

Or else you can go to Murthal for some yummy parathas with white butter again 70 odd kms.

You can also go to Gajjraula for morning rides and that would be also be around same kms.

If you just want to ride and feel the freedom, early morning ride till Yamuna Expressway is good, and in that context you can take Faridabad and from their take the back road to Gurgaon and then come to Dhaba.

You can also go to Okhla Bird Santuary, Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary, Dum Duma Lake, take Sohna Road and ride a bit in Aravallis and come back.

You can go to Kosi (towards Mathura) to have some breakfast and be back.

Their are many options but the problem is who is willing to come. Yes when we used to plan we always had a decent number and the whole group was always following the Rules of Group Riding. About me, yes I am willing to ride but I work in night shifts and I have my offs on mixed days so cant be sure, so I am sorry. But yes if you want you can PM me anytime and I will let you know my availability for Sunday morning rides.
