  • Pathetic Customer Service

What a pathetic KTM/Bajaj servicecentre at Kirti Nagar, New Delhi. Total crap and bullshit, I reached there at 9am sharp and my bike was registered on third number for the repairs, till 10.30am they did not even started working on the first bike and were busy with the backlog. This happened with me for the 4th time and yes to my surprise ACs were not working, when i asked to switch them ON the reply i got was "bhaiya chalte he nahi kya karein" . Sitting for 3.5 hours in the showroom and they guys can't provide an AC. Will strongly recommend other people not to visit this service center.
Oh wait!bI'm sorry I can't afford a Kawasaki bike but that doesn't means these guys will serve Kawasaki customer with an AC lounge exactly adjacent to the KTM, i also own a Honda Activa been there many time and have a very well maintained customer service lounge.

      Hi Rakshit,

They have a huge backlog whenever you go to their service center. I also get my NS serviced from this service center. My suggestion would be to call the specific mechanic first and then take your bike there especially for a repair/replacement because service does not take much time on busy days. I had to get the chain set replaced which takes around 1.5 hours, so I called that specific mechanic, took his time and then went to the center. The one who makes the job card will always give you the wrong information.
      Regards,

You can go to Karol Bagh. In front of dhamija motors, many mechanics are present. Go to a guy named Saleem. He is very good in these types of jugaads. Even I created a custom led mounting plate from him. His work is good.
Search for dhamija motors on Gmaps for directions.

                        • Tracks near NCR

                          Hello All,

I have about 10 years of riding experience, and am full of aspirations about riding.

So there's this urge, that comes with a Fast (but safe) riding temperament, a decent (and recent) ride, sticky rubber and viewership of race vids.
I want to learn to corner, really fast and wish to improve my riding skills. The interest personal and not as a career option.

Of course the public roads with a lot of traffic are not my playground. Those are for commuting.
But I am really interested in gaining on my riding skills in a safe environment.

Alas ! The place I live is NCR, and I have a regular job.
That is to say that I do not get time on weekdays, and also, that I cannot afford to book the BIC, Greater Noida, when I desire.

I read a lot of text, watch videos, but hardly get any chance to implement or try things out.
Track days seem like a distant fantasy, but there is no way that I give up.

                          Coach or no coach.
                          Public Roads or Private Track.
                          Free or Paid.

I am open and looking for open roads/tracks/twisties with minimal traffic.

So fellow xBHPians, please guide me as to where I can find a suitable place near Delhi to learn cornering and other skills.

                          Thanks in advance.

                            Hello Delhi-ites.
I am not sure if my question will be off-topic but since this thread is visited by bikers from Delhi, therefore posting it here.

I have recently purchased a new bike with the intention of occasional tours/trips during weekends. However, to facilitate that properly - I am looking for support gears and spares.
I did stray around a little in East Delhi, mostly around main roads adjacent to Metro tracks but couldn't find even any half decent bike spares and accessories shop. Most of them were intended for four wheeler.

Could you guys pour in some suggestions/recommendation for Shops/Areas where I can find motorbike gears offline ?
Such as Locks, Gloves, Helmets , Tank bags, Luggage Boxes, Lamps, LEDs, jackets, Safety gears and First Aid Equipment, etc etc.
I would prefer a shop where they have more of a showroom type display - so personally select and choose from.

                            Thanks.
