I will be doing the Leh trip from 09 Jun this year. My Pulsar 150 Classic toolkit has gone missing.

Will suggest, you build your own toolkit by buying quality screwdrivers, spanners, etc in the size that you need.
You can visit Nana Peth or the automobile shops on JM Road.

Bloody good ride it seems.
I almost fell off the cliff when the clutch cable snapped while cornering... and yes going back again for cornering after fixing the cable was fun... Thanx to rohit and reveraaaannnd....

Cable snapped when i was heading towards lavasa and mutha was just finished...the last of the two right handers after the temple downhill thats where the cable snapped...
Alarming Reverend with all abuses was fun.

One of the things i came to know is that you need to create a loop which can be attached to the horn switch with the use of keychain ring and then engage the clutch. Told by Rohit, and it worked but not for long, this jugaad can work for odd 20kms.

I know i have missed a great ride to Sandhan Valley, abey Hardik chida mat.

Always keep a spare accelerator and clutch cable...

BTW we got like 20 odd shell stickers free yest from the bunker...

Bike still having pick up problems after working out on the carb, also cleaned the petrol tank which had dust and water...
Lavasa this time happened on 1st and 2nd gear only, it resisted to go on 3rd...
Bike will be back to garage by next weekend...

Congrats inder paaji, so we hope to see it the duke at this weeks g2g with some sweets.

@ icemang - i think the classic pulsar 2002 tool kit is not the same which is sold with current gen of pulsars, as to my knowledge it had different bolt changes and making uniformity part among all bajaj bolts came up later, In fact i think a first gen CBZ tool kit has 70% matching spanners, so you can even try that.

@Devil Assasin - Please use multi quotes.

@ rockrz - where you crossing parihar chowk yest evening around 8 pm as i saw a guy wearing same helmet and the red hunk at the signal.

@eshan - did you greased the clutch inner wire and checked the bolts which are at the other end for thread? Secondly did you adjusted tappet setting ?

Yes, he greased the clutch wire. Also checked the bolts and ensured to tighten the clutch a bit.

Tappet settings?? why to check them for clutch wire snapping.
