Sunday Ride to Mahabaleshwar

Meeting point- Chandini Chowk @ 6 am.
Departure time- 6:15 am.
Reason for me choosing Mahabaleshwar- Long time that I had Strawberry Cream. :-P If someone has a better place in mind, the destination can be changed though..... :-)

need help in buying gears

Hello fellow bikers,

I have been a silent observer on xbhp till now. I am now an owner of a month old r15 v2 and recently shifted to pune.

I would like to be a part of your group as well as your group rides. Before that I need your help in buying gears.

I would like to buy a not very expensive helmet (<=2500Rs) just for city use. I already have one for long hauls.

Also I would like to buy gloves and jacket for city use only.

Please suggest me some good and reasonably priced shops in pune for the gears.

It would be great if somebody could accompany me in buying them.

I hope you have added your name to SMS channel list which is on first page of this thread.

Cool, in that amount you will get a decent LS2 helmet, but since you already own one why not use the same. Just a suggestion.

Gloves and jackets - DSG Camp, Cramster kothrud, Scoyco Kalyani Ngr (would not advice you though for scoyco but if budget crunches then yes). These are the only shops for good and reliable jackets in pune. I hope knee guards or riding pants are in your list too.

Come for the g2g we will sort it out regarding accompanying you for the buy.

We have our weekly meets around 8pm on wednesday and dhaba meets once a month, when the salary is done mostly. All kadki people in this chapter.

check this thread regarding venue and time for g2g if you have DND activated on your cell phone.

i and one of my friends were planning a road trip from nagpur to goa via aurangabad and pune..
if all goes well we should reach pune on 18/05/12 by 12:00 noon..

would really appreciate if someone could help us with good service centers for Yamaha R15 and tvs apache 180rtr...
I know all must be busy but we would surely like to meet up with at least a few of you as here in nagpur we don't have that big a group of xbhpians..

hi, even i will be riding on the same route on 18th. However i will be crossing aurangabad around 6 am, so i dont think we can meet up enroute. But there is authorised showrroom of yamaha and tvs in wakdewadi and i will be also going there. So we can go together there by 12 noon....
Pune guys if the asc are not good please suggest other ones...
