          • A fabulous show was put on by Kawasaki to launch their 2012-13 line up here at Times Square ... And it was more than mesmerizing to have their fully blown out stable here from baby Ninja to the Hyper-tuned Drag Bike ... in our context I am sharing a few pics of nunja 650 and the Ninja300. 650 looked better to me with the treatment that it gt fr looks.

But the more irresistible one was the Ninja 300.. and whoooaaaa... it looks drop dead gorgeous in flesh... gone are the days with slim thigh grips .. this one has improved considerably in all proportions. tak looked meaty n the whole bike is way more aggressive. definitely smething people shd wait fot if they are lookin to change their rides any time sooner... I would for sure... njoi a few pics by that time.Click image for larger version

                  • Ride to Smile Stone :

Please note that specific gear and document check would be done at starting point and if anyone turns up without minimum requirement, will not be permitted to ride with the group.

Since the number of riders on this ride has crossed 20 mark, it would be extremely difficult to manage all the riders as one group. My idea is to split the group in 3 parts. Each group should be leaving meeting point at 3-5 minute interval. The groups would be based on riding speed at which the rider would feel comfortable.

1st group would be of riders comfortable at speeds of 120 kmph +
2nd group would be of riders comfortable at speeds between 100 to 120 kmph.
3rd group would be of riders comfortable at lower speeds / riders who have bikes in run-in period and can’t exceed certain speeds.

The speeds mentioned above are the top speeds and not minimum speeds of bikes. Please understand that this is not a test of your manhood or riding skills. Even Rossi on a FZ16 would not be able to overtake a unskilled guy like me on a litre class bike. J This is a group ride with lots of riders with whom we have never ridden before.

Each group would have a lead and tail. Any member of that group is not permitted to overtake the lead.
I request everyone to kindly specify the group in which he would be comfortable. If you are comfortable doing so, please post if you would like to lead or tail any specific group.

                    Group 1 – 120 kmph+
                    1. Trustvishwas – N250

                    Group 2 – 100 – 120 kmph
                    1.

                    Group 3 – Lower speed
                    1.

Everyone is requested to fill up fuel / air on Saturday. Once the ride starts, there would not be any break till we reach smile stone.

Added my name in the list.

@Hardik since you are coming on the ride please note that riding in group formation is extremely important as we have some newbies too. I'm putting you in the first group of riders since you are way too skilled and fast loving rider, good to see you rolling man, tailing would be your role, more questions would be solved by Vishwas.

I have not ridden with Hardik much so have no idea about his riding.

@ Hardik - If you are comfortable in the tail job, I have no issues. Please note that you will need to ensure that you are not overtaking even a single member of the first group.

                            Another caution :

I have also observed that certain riders from our old group have a tendency to talk on mobile while riding, do close overtaking, sudden lane changes. I do not want to take names but please ensure that you refrain from this kind of behavior or drop out of this ride. Saying this once again - This is not a test of your manhood or riding skills. Please allow others to enjoy the ride without unnecessary obstructions.
