One day return ride to Ellora Caves and Daulatabad Fort, Aurangabad.

Date - 16th Dec 2012 (Sunday)

Meeting time - 6 am

Departure time - 6.10 am

Meeting point - Sangamwadi Bridge (not Sangam bridge)

Total ride distance: 520 kms (approx)

Documents
a. Valid Driving License: MUST have and carry at all times
b. Bike Registration Papers: Original or Attested Photocopy
c. Bike Tax Certificate: Original or Attested Photocopy
d. Bike Insurance: Preferably a comprehensive insurance, personal insurance would be a plus.
e. PUC Certificate: A valid PUC certificate; especially if touring along with the group to pollution sensitive/monitored areas.

Safety Gear
a. Helmet: Has to be in good condition and preferably ISI/DOT certified
b. Thick Jacket/Riding Jacket: Must have inbuilt armour or external armour is also allowed
c. Gloves: Must cover vital points like knuckles and wrist. Cut/half gloves not allowed
d. Knee Guards: Either bionic or regular flex type. Should be worn inside trousers if non bionic.
e. Riding Boots/Sports Shoes/Army Boots: Anything that covers the foot well.
f. There is nothing that can better the protection of a full leather suit (if affordable). The preferred and most recommended piece of protection that your money can buy. Not compulsory though.

NOTE:
1. Any member found flouting the rules will be warned once before being banned permanently
2. Since the distance covered is gonna be 550 kms(approx) in one day, this ride will demand lot more than just the riding skills

Guys.. Check out this insane handlebar mod! This definitely is not for long distance touring. Wonder till what extent this mod's toll has taken on the rider's back and of course the stability of the bike.

Cant say if thats a P150 or P180 (The exhaust confirmed its not a 200 though)

First thought that it was a Fz then a friend pointed out that its a Pulsar.

Nah.. not me.. Even if I sit on this pulsar, it would quite difficult to get hold of the handle much less riding around on this.

Yet another first from Pune members for Pune members!!!

Guys we have been riding together for years now yet we know very little about each other,the feeling ,of being a Brotherhood and a family, needs strengthening.. In last couple of years many of our members have got married and can hardly manage to meet or ride.
This get together will give all members and their family to interact ,know other members and their family,clear any doubt any member's family has regarding biking and importantly get an idea how we are ,what we do as Bikers.


Vishwas and I (rohitlc) had this idea in our minds for couple of months ,now after putting it in front of members in last G2G and seeing immense response , we have finalized a Sunday Brunch Get together on 6th Jan 2013. Seeing current estimate of around 100 attendees we have two venues --


1. PYC HINDU GYMKHANA.
2. HALL NEAR DECCAN IN VISHWAS' SOCIETY.


IN BOTH CASES EXPENSE WOULD NOT EXCEED 250/-

PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR ATTENDANCE BY 22/12/2012 AND SUBMIT MONEY ON OR BEFORE 26/122012 G2G.


WE WILL ARRANGE VENUE,FOOD,ACTIVITIES DEPENDING ON THE TOTAL COUNT ON 26TH DEC.

Once again some last minute cancellations . Thought of doing solo ride but some fellow riders are eager to visit this destination and were not in the town on Sunday so postponed it for the next week.
