@niranjan: What has gotten into you that there are such huge post's...riding gear or no riding gear...riding the bike safely is more important. Responsible people will behave responsibly and the not so once...should not be entertained the next time around.
All these 10 yrs of touring...its only in 2008 that i got my riding jacket and a set of riding gears...does that mean that i met with accidents all the other years....
I am not here to debate on any topic...I understand your emotions that you want a safe G2G with no accidents. Nobody wants to spend their weekends at the doctor nursing someone else's injury.
Hopefully all are listening to what you have to say and atleast wear some injury resistant clothes.

when i ride bullet before my bullet was solid condition but i once race with a Ceilo car and my engine size. mechancic say bullet is good bike but no racing. it is good for three people and very powerful.
one day when i become rich i but ducati and then I race with cars. not now.
