Guys..keeping in mind the Importance of safety and the love for Biking in our cities...i have started retailing a few Biking gears like Pro biker gloves, alpinestars balaclava, AXO set of knee and elbow guards, etc.....!!

I feel the price for the stuff is the best competitive price available around because they are just intended to spread safety and not make money.

Does anyone knows where can i get H7 HID bulbs with projectors with color temperature of 4300k. Need it for my R15.

Also if anyine has done DIY fitting the Pulsar 220 Projector headlight in the R15 panel and can share the details it would be great.

I need some help towards planning a trip to the Rann of Kutch. It's just a three day trip, so I need some advice on what the best places to cover are, and what places can be given a miss. Is there anyone who has done a trip to the Rann of Kutch from Pune? If so, please let me know.

Went there in March last year. The itenary was:
Day 0: Left Pune in evening, after office and night halt was at Valsad.
Day 1: Valsad - Bhuj.
Day 2: Bhuj - Lakhpat - Narayan Sarowar - Bhuj.
Day 3: Bhuj - India Bridge - Kalo Dungar - White Rann - ahead of Radhanpur(I think).
Day 4: ahead of Radhanpur - Rann - Radhanpur - Baroda - Pune.

If you want it in 3 days, eliminate any one day of your choice, from Day 2/Day 3.

I would like to know, has anybody transferred the vehicle to Bangalore for similar period & do we need to carry NOC or pay road tax in Karnataka.

My occupation is such that if I keep changing the regn numbers, I will drive the RTO chaps in a dozen states crazy! For me, I just show my identity card whenever I am stopped (Pulsar is RJ, my car was GJ, an earlier car was UP and so on). Barring Karnataka, I was given an amused look ("these Army guys are nuts, Nagaland registered bike in Pune?, only these chaps do such things" etc), had to gossip a bit about the Army and was waved on but with a caution to keep the PUC updated.

In '95, I was in B'lore for a period of 6 weeks. We were given a certificate signed by the Admin Offr of the institution to the effect that our bikes would ply on Kar roads only from date XYZ till date ABC, that we did not intend to sell the bikes but would take them back with us when we returned to our respective places of postings. Also, a particular sub-section of the MVA, dealing with the vehicle-related issues for Central Govt servants was quoted. We did not face any trouble with the traffic cops there on.

If you can get a letter from your company stating such facts, the cops may take a sensible view of it...

Unfortunately, vehicle regn is a state subject so our states form their own idiotic rules, screwing our happiness in the process.

Personally, I really don't think that one needs to change the regn for just 6-odd months...

You can take a NOC from pune and show it to karnataka RTO office and pay the road tax for 6 months as that case you wont need to change your number and other things. They would need your bikes insurance and PUC certificate and the RC card.

Hey folks!
Our group of 4 bikes completed a trip yesterday. We did Pune-Viramgam-Dholavira(Greater Rann)-Mount Abu-Anand-Pune in four days. It was brilliant! The great Rann of Kutch lived up to its reputation, and the famed roads of Gujarat did not disappoint. We threw mount abu in for some respite from straight roads, and the final concoction turned out to be intoxicating!
If anyone wants any updates on roads or routes towards Gujarat and the Rann, please PM. I'll try and finish the log soon, and put it up.

MOTOGP replays over G2Gs

Guys,
With MOTOGP 2013 season started with a bang last week, this season promises to be interesting one. I've the Qatar race replay available [This is BBCsports version of Qatar race which gives a lot of insights about the riders,teams etc. whereas we get only the Race via ESPN . A must watch!! ]. Maybe we should organize a 'dekho' over some G2Gs for everyone to watch together. There's nothing like watching these things with like-minded people. What say... NV, others??

PS-These are 1hr30mins. race video, can be accommodated in G2G I think.
PPS-We will have to think about the logistics also. There's no more TMC where we could watch this at ease. Options anyone???
