Hmm, that why i mentioned that you visit & check out Universal : Riding Gears Thread as some people can then accordingly suggest good gears according to your budget, besides i guess you can get a decent jacket at 4.3k-4.4k(Spartan Icarus\DSG Aero) in which quality wise, spartan rocks but it's available in mumbai only(AHH helmets) or else according to your choice & purpose (commuting,touring,etc) though i would strongly recommend going for a mesh jacket as they would be cheaper & good as in case of Scoyoco's JK17(commuter),JK27(touring),etc & please invest in a good pair of gloves as well (pro-biker gloves for 390, are pretty decent) as they help in case of fall

PS - good quality gears protect you irrespective of speeds as even the impact at the speed of 50-55 is equivalent of falling from 4-5th floor. so ride safe.tc

Hi frnds,

Someone suggested me Amway product for bike washing and polishing.


Amway CarWash and Silicone glaze car polish.
This will cost around 770 both.

Are they good product for bike.

I have used both the products for my car and bike, and they are good.
Make sure that the polish only to be used for metal parts not for fibre and all "as for fibre waxpol liquid is best if you get 100% original" and make sure you rub it completely off or it leaves bad white kind of marking which looks like bad on metal paints.

I have used both the products for my car and bike, and they are good.
Make sure that the polish only to be used for metal parts not for fibre and all "as for fibre waxpol liquid is best if you get 100% original" and make sure you rub it completely off or it leaves bad white kind of marking which looks like bad on metal paints.

I have heard that polishes damage the paint surface if used regularly.
Is silicone glaze such a product?

Is Waxing the good way to protect the paint and shine of the bike/car?

can anybody throw light on this topic or could direct me to proper thread.......

Oks chain sprayvis available in pro biker which is in camp.

For chain clean you can use WD40 its a strong degresser. Its available in any hardware store. There is substitute available which is called as Zorrik, please avoid it all costs.

For application of lube and degresser you can check out my signature.
