Hi Guys,

Need help. I'll be transferring my motorcycle from Mumbai to Banagalore (MH14 registration). I'll be in Bangalore for less than year (6-8 months) & then will return back to Pune.
I would like to know, has anybody transferred the vehicle to Bangalore for similar period & do we need to carry NOC or pay road tax in Karnataka.

Actually, you are allowed to ride/ drive your MH registered vehicle in Karnataka upto a period of 6 months without getting into NoC and road tax business. You should be able to prove that it has been less than or equal to 6 months that you have got your vehicle in Karnataka (e.g. PUC, petrol bill from Maharashtra). I have transferred my car from Pune to Bangalore almost 2 years back but still am continuing with MH registration.

if you are gonna be in Bangalore only for a few months then i'd suggest you get a few of hand written reciepts from a petrol pump and ask the attendant not to write the date on it.
any time cops stop you in bangalore just take out a reciept and write a date of about a week back on the reciept.
This way you dont get hassled much by the cops and can avoid a trip to the RTO too

There is just one route to amby from lonavala. If you are coming from pune side then take left turn at kumar resort then continue on the INS route / Bushi dam route from there its a single route. Don't miss the lion's point on the way to amby & be careful on the blind corners. Ride safe, have fun.

You can try at Parvati industrial place near Swargate. Cantact Mr. Ram at TVS service center. He will help you. I have done teflon quite a few times. Its good.

I hardly think any one does teflon coating on bikes. All they do is wax polishing and it's better to do it by yourself.

Bump! Can anybody point Me out to a Good mechanic in Bike Electric systems in Pune? I own an Apache RTR 180 and am going to install an HID on it. Would appreciate if some could also point Me out to a place where I can buy the stuff and get it fit from the same.
