I have never taken a loan in my life as I always believed in saving up the entire amount for cars/bikes. Perhaps that is why I am so fed-up.

I think thats fairly the same with all. I also had to do a lot of hardship with the Bajaj Inhouse finance team while I was booking my Zee and after getting some what pissed off coz of their numerous calls, verification checks and documentation required, I decided to kiss them a good bye and got the ride paying on my own.

IDBI has a decent feedback. Bank of India is a winner in this regard but their two wheeler loan rates currently are high.

trustvishwas. I know. The matter is complicated by the fact that I want to process the loan on the fone without the branch having seen me even once.

shashrash. I think the lady got rightfully alarmed as I asked her about a bike and car loan at the same time. "Na aata na pata, bike and car loan, bolta hai" must have been her reaction.

How much is the Final Quote? If you're in Bangalore, and getting a bike from Mumbai, it may be a pain riding the bike there without getting the registration transferred...

Whether you can go on this bike or not is entirely upto you. As professor biker already asked, there is no point buying out of state bike. Unless you are stationed in Maharashtra, don't buy it. The price quoted is at par with the market.

Yes please don't buy a bike from other states. Bangalore/Karnataka RTO is now working proactively, according to the latest report, to catch bikes from outer states.

Hey all,
My insurance policy has expired. It was previously from MP. Is there any rule that the insurance policy must also be taken from the same state that you ride in, like Maharashtra now?

Thanks sir. Waise, I was wondering why is insurance mandatory at all. Registering the bike, paying tax, PUC is compulsory and it makes sense. But insurance? I don't understand why everybody must have an insurance to ride or drive a vehicle
