Need some help..

My brother has purchased a new bike which I would be using for a couple of months..(we live together)
Some doubts about this..
1. The bike has a temporary registration number.. Is there any restriction on the number of days till which I can use it before getting the number registered from the RTO?
2. Is there any restriction on the number of km we can use the bike with the temporary number?
3. What all documents do I need to keep with me to avoid hassles with the police?

Any other information would also be appreciated..

I am not an expert here but you need to register with RTO asap. Temporary regn no. can only be used for a limited time and there are various restrictions on plying the vehicle. Needless to say Insurance, License, Invoice need to be handy. Unless your purpose is to register it in a different city, you also need to keep the challan for registration fees / road tax handy.

Doing the exploratory documentation for a loan for a new bike. Fark, my credentials were not questioned like this even when I was getting married. The only info the person has not asked for is the length of my willie. And the depths she is going to, that too is not very far away. In the end, I will have tell her that I have got the oil and the bamboo, she need only watch

I have never taken a loan in my life as I always believed in saving up the entire amount for cars/bikes. Perhaps that is why I am so fed-up.

The documentation is fairly simple and you being in Govt. Service, should be much easier. They just want to confirm that you actually are the person who you claim to be, you actually are getting the salary you claim and you actually stay at the place you claim.
