      Its not that Number of posts that matters, its the number of Kilometers that does and how you do those kms that matters....

        I thought this ORIGINALLY came up as a Leh preparation thingy from Vishwas, and I read somewhere Inder agreeing to it! So assumed if he would have not missed this opportunity?

          • Guys, a general question here ..

            Going by this thread, you guys end up in Lavasa so often that some members are a bit tired of it (I don't know why though.. the roads are so fine and the curves so awesome that one could spend an entire day on that stretch alone), and I've been there twice in a gap of a year, and there is absolutely nothing over there! The last time I went there with a bunch of friends was two weeks back. The same goes for Aamby Valley I reckon.

            So my question is this: What exactly do you guys do when you reach the destination? Esp places like Lavasa and Aamby Valley, where there is nothing really to do. What is a typical day on the weekend ride. I'm just curious and severely lacking ideas.

                Thanks for clearing that up. Would definitely like to join you all, once all my gear is in place.

                Would I have to buy full gloves with armoured knuckles? Coz I own a set of simple half-gloves (with finger tips exposed - coz the feel is better when working the controls on the bike), and the purpose is mainly protection from the sun.

                P.S: Saw a big bunch of riders moving towards Aamby Valley on 9th May. Included a black Ninja among other bikes as well. Was it an xBhp meet up?

                  LAVASA / AMBY = CURVES
                  CURVES = CORNERS = FUN
                  BIKERS + CURVES = CORNERING = ADRENALINE = SUPER FUN

                  Simple, that was, isnt it!

                  YES, they were heading to Mulshi Dam for some Off-Roading Madness.

                  • @s_and_m- You are more than welcome to join us for the ride. We ride down to Lavasa (atleast I do :P) almost every weekend. But for safety reasons, we have made it mandatory for everyone to wear elbow guards and a thick jacket or an armoured riding jacket, knee guards, helmet, riding shoes and full length gloves for the ride. So kit up and join us soon.
