Any G2G/Riding plan on Saturday/Sunday?

There is supposed to be lavasa ride on sunday morning which i will be joining.

Fact:
1. PBK Shirode Auto Kothrud had a notice put up saying all PBK vehicles can be serviced in any regular Bajaj Service Center.
2. I wont be able to trust my vehicle at a regular Bajaj SC.
3. All free services are over. This is 1st Paid Service @ 10k

1. Where can i get Motul 300v 15w50 FS in Pune?
2. Where can i safely get my P220 DTSi serviced safely in Pune as PBK Shirode Auto Ghole road is closed for the monsoons and PBK Shirode Auto Kothrud is 20km from my place and i dont like PMT.
3. Is there any Castrol Bike Zone close to Shivajinagar whose services could be used instead?

there is a castroll bike zone in kothrud near vanaz factory. bike service takes 3 hrs max so u can wait and see ur bike getting serviced

1. You can get Motul from various places. Some of them are planetDSG on MG road(camp), Aru Traders at paud phata, etc.

2. There are many local mechanics which can do a good job for you. My recommendation is Shirish Joshi(Castrol Bike Point) in Kothrud, near City pride theatre. He is very well known among bikers in Pune.

3. There is a Castrol Bike Zone as many have already pointed out next to Sancheti hospital, Shivajinagar.

Did you check DSG? They definitely stock 300v Factory Line. Not sure about the grade.

guys i am noticing that some have mentioned CASTROL BIKE POINT

is this a mockup of castrol bike zone???

cos once i had gone to such a point in nigdi and got the bike screwed..

there are many "castrol bike point" shops in pune but very few castrol bike zone

please enlighten me

also as far as i know there are just 3 castrol bike zone in pune
one is in nigdi
one in kothrud
and one is somewhere in the region of mg road !!!!

2. there used to be a castrol bike zone on approach road to cdac near sancheti in shivajinagar

just had a chat with the CBZ fellow. They use either crapstrol or shell helix(car) engine oil. but he also said that the oil is still good to go. no oil change required right now.

Also talked with wakdewdi Bajaj non-pbk SC fellow. he sez if i confirm today.. he can source motul for me.

suggestions are welcome.

P.S.: Liked the setup at Castrol Bike Zone. but cudnt believe my eyes when the guy showed me can of Shell Helix FS CAR ENGINE OIL that he puts in the bikes. told him the reason why he shuldnt be doing this (as per engine oils thread) and left the place.

lavasa on both sat. and sunday. sagar going on saturday,NV on sunday,ritwik going to mahabi with some other friends.

We will be riding to Lavasa on Sunday morning. Meeting at Chandani Chawk at 5:45am and leaving for Lavasa by 6:00am. As of now, the following guys are keen on coming for the ride:

1. As per the last news I had, Shirode is closing down by 30th June and Sai Service will be the next Service point for Probiking outlets.
2. Did you ever trust Shirode....

2. You can get it done at Castrol Bike Zones. But remember to get your bike stamped by Bajaj people, else they will have another point of rejecting your warranty claims...

1. As per the last news I had, Shirode is closing down by 30th June and Sai Service will be the next Service point for Probiking outlets. So it seems its wise to stay away from them.
2. Did you ever trust Shirode....The only PBK i did trust was Wasan & Sons Nasik and that would be because i had good rapport with the staff over the last 10 months. But considering my odo reading says 9968 with me & the bike both in pune, I guess Shirode was it.

1. DSG or Aru Traders at Kothrud Will be changing the oil later as the last batch of 300v was put in when the odo read 6100. So still some life remaining. Thanks anyways.
