I didn't like that attitude(The part in bold).Ofcourse you need a visor & original bike papers & original license.Btw which helmet do you have?

The "flying off" happened when my bro was using it. He had put it up, and it happened at 50kmph. No seriously, it did! He gets scared riding at more than 60!

It is an ISI marked helmet. dont remember the name. But the screws holding the visor were of some special type that is not at all easily available... Trust me i have tried. I even tried buying a new helmet. Have not found one that fits me. Seriously. Not kidding!

Will try again this saturday. I have found only one shop which does this, that is off Laxmi road. If someone can help me with some other shop, I would be grateful!

I usually keep the original papers at home.. carry around copies, and the (original) smart card. Thats why I asked. This has worked with the pandus here...

Destination : Rajmachi

Date : 28 June, Sunday

Meeting Time : 5:30 am

Leaving Time : 5:45 am sharp

Meeting Point : Near Chandni Chowk CCD,Pune

Total Distance : 160 kms(approx) to and fro

Route : Pune ->Lonavala->Rajmachi

INSTRUCTIONS :-

1) wear helmet during the whole ride.(pillion also)
2) rider must have all the necessary documents i.e. dl,r/c,puc,insurance.
3) no drags , no overtaking.
4) ride in proper group formation.
5)keep ur headlights on and on low beam during the ride.
6)senior members will lead the group so all the other riders will follow them and one member with a good riding experience will sweep.

@MG: the route by Hydro is better as its comparatively wider...I had trekked along the same route last july...

Rajmachi means U get to do your fav stuff.....offroading

Once you reach top ..there's small village..guys can get bhaji,tea...smokes etc...

there's also small school & rural development programme so it's a nice inhabitated place..

can order lunch b4 exploring to get on it on time..

there are 2 forts on top which you need to climb...both offer fantastic view...each is approx 20-30 mins climb..

additionally You can enquire for Gondhlekar Guruji and give panvel reference....(if he's available, he shuttles between home & rajmachi)
he can help with food arrangements or n e thing else

We will meet at Chandni Chowk CCD at around 5.30a.m(@kashif-Please update the list with timings & place of meet).

Shoes are must. If you don't have riding gear please make sure that you are wearing a decent jacket or pullover. Since the chance of rain is there so make sure that you carry a raincoat.

That's it.I guess you will be armed with your camera.
