A Dummy's Guide to G2G

1. A G2G is a Get together of riders.
2. G2G can be scheduled by anyone, any place, any time. (However, members may decide to remain present / absent as per their own convenience)
3. Please do not ask to reschedule date and/or time and/or location once plans are posted on Pune thread.
4. If you are not comfortable with declared date and/or time and/or location, you have an option of not remaining present.
5. Riding gear, bike documents etc. are not required for coming down for G2G.

I hope this clarifies.

I am new in Pune and on vacation and want to come to G2G. I was wondering what this stands for, now its clear. I hope to ride with the Pune group this weekend if the group excepts me. I live in Nigdi and I guess I have to take the Wakad road to reach Chandni Chowk. See you all at the G2G.

Vishwas ji i know you are the most knowledgable guy in whole of XBHP pune chapter as said by most of the junior members (Since NV bhaiya has taken sanyas for doing pranayams in himalayas :P) and i know this too that you have been on rides with most senior riders ever found on XBHP.

But Rohan bhaiya told me that G2G means something else...

That meaning i cannot tell here since this is a public forum and my daddu DK Bhau told me not to say bad words here becoze Xpolice can ban you and put you in yarwada jail ...

Since i am a new and very very junior member can anybody actually tell me the way to chandni chowk?

Do we get free gears and bikes for the rides from there + free coffee (i dont drink coffee coz that is rich and grown up guys drink, "Do they keep milk and toffies coz i like them ??")

Just follow this thread daily for any updates about rides and be sure to subscribe to the SMS group..

And remember - anyone can initiate a ride. You can ask for recommendations and updates about road conditions.

Own you Manual Contest

Hi , in order to re initiate discussion series/biking related activities in G2G i am proposing "Own Your Manual" contest

In OYM contest there will be three categories , according to bikes, to participate. Three winners with highest score will be chosen i.e. One from each category. and i will give prizes as per my capacity.

Categories : Bajaj pulsar 220
Yamaha R15
Yamaha FZ/Fazer or Bajaj Pulsar 150/180 Dtsi
Date of the contest : Sat. 26/11/2011
Venue : Will be finalised in coming week

About New member induction ride.
Induction ride will be on 27/11/2011 . as it will give all the old/ new members to get their Gear and Bikes in order.venue will be decided in coming week.

@ vivek : Group riding hand signals contest sounds great . i have realised most of us know these hand signals but we do not have our own designated hand signals and very few people may use them properly during the ride. so lets have this contest aft OYM. would you or anyone else like to condust this contest?
