Planning a 2 days unplanned(tentative) ride to JOG falls on the coming weekend.

Plan is to leave NH4 from Belgaum and explore the Kali river Basin Forests and head to the JOG falls via internal routes.

Does anyone have any idea about the routes ??
Else i have to rely upon the Eicher Maps

I would have suggested this if you were not a Mad man

Don't know much about the inner routes but as per my last yr experience.It rains heavily at this time of yr and Jog fall becomes invisible due to deep fog.

Maybe you can search for a local hotel number and enquire about the current situation.
Dandeli and Anshi NP are worth paying visit in rains.

He is just Facebooking now-a-days!! Saving up on fuel and money and waiting desparately for the rains to go away, so that he can scorch the tracks of Lavasa again!!

How are the roads to lavassa post the rains??
are they still awsome as before or have they come up with potholes and other bikers nightmares??
Me and a couple of my friends planning a ride so wanted to know the conditions of the road.

^^ Roads at Lavasa should be good. They normally dont develop potholes. The only concern while cornering at Lavasa during rains is some oil/diesel spillage due to constant commercial traffic in the ghats. Add to that hopeless Jeeps and wannabe Hamiltons in their cages who think that the road is entirely their property.

Lavasa road still as good as previous, I rode lavasa 21-Aug with mumbai gang.
