See my signature ... its like a metal badge on which ICE information is etched. Typically used by military for identifying injured people or in some case even corpse. Used by a few bikers as a safety ICE info. Better than having ICE info on your phone which people will flick away with usually...

i am confirmed in for the ride if surojit turns lemons . I mean if surojit decides to going somewhere which is more than about 600 kms away from home.. need to return before 5 in evening..

we will discuss this in the g2g at motocafe... u comin??

TVS Chain Spray User Review

This is a user review for the TVS Chain Spray that was recently(relatively) introduced in the market.

I have used several chain lubricants; SAE 90 Oil, Motul Chain Lube, the OKS Chain Spray and the Paras Chain Spray used at many Probiking centers but found the Paras Spray and OKS to be the best.

Of all my bikes, the R15 probably consumes or needs more attention as far as Chain Lube is concerned. The last few weeks had caused havoc with the chain as the chain was squeaking louder than a battalion of a thousand hungry mice. Add to that the typical rust and grime.

I happened to buy the TVS Chain Spray as a pure alternative to the Motul Chain Spray (not available at that time) and OKS (Dealer not known).
The Chain Spray retails for Rs. 295 in a spray bottle weighing 375 gm and contains 500 ml of lubricant.

Both the R15 and the 220 got the chain lube treatment and I found the performance to be good even after riding the bike in rain and mud. The lube did not wear off like the Motul Chain Lube. The splatter is less and the lube feels at par with OKS and the Paras Spray.

My Verdict: Worth a buy...especially if you ride a lot. At Rs. 295, its a bargain.

+1 , its cheap and mighty effective.... I remember saying this to RishabH for his FZ. It also comes in a smaller can which can be used for those tours and monkey riding!

(Psst: Get the front sprocket off, clean em and put it the other way around and the noise would lower... )
