Or are you gonna TRY and wake up without a wake up call and will definitely come if someone wakes you up ?

Well i meant one call would have made me up and running but friday night i slept quiet late and was quiet tried and woke up at 6 am as my alarm rang but was feeling too dizzy so thought riding can be bit risky so dropped it, dint wanted to sleep while riding and crash my small brain.

Went to Champs-Elysee in Paris today. Went to a road which has all the bike dealerships there!! Opposite Arc-de-Triomphe. And it is insane!!!

You name it it and it is there. Ducati,MV,Aprilia,BMW,Honda,Kawa,Suzuki,Yamaha.... ..

And the person in the MV showroom said Namaste when I entered!! How cool is that!

Got myself a pair of riding boots for good discount. Xpd XP5.

i have that orange vest as well but it looks like something a road worker would wear..

A lot of accidents happen when people do not spot the bikers in time. You might look like a road worker but it enhances road visibility by a great extent and a biker will not go unnoticed.
Its just a way to reduce the chances of an accident.

After suggestion and repeated follow-up my company has finaly stood up to the cause and has launched a Safety awareness Week.We are a good 3000 strong company.

Below is the appeal that was made to staff:

Road traffic injuries are a major public health problem and a leading cause of death and injury around the world. With the rise of the two-wheeler population on the roads, Pune is fast becoming a leading city in India to log in road accidents.
We are all aware that motorcycle riders are at an increased risk of being involved in a crash. This is not only because they often share the traffic space with fast moving cars, buses and trucks, but also because they are less visible. In addition, their lack of physical protection makes them particularly vulnerable to being injured if they are involved in a collision. We are also aware that helmets are effective in reducing the likelihood of such injuries which could otherwise cause a disability or even death. Why is it then that some of us are stubborn, refuse to wear a helmet, thereby taking our lives for granted?
Here are three reasons that will give us an appreciation of the functionality of the helmet :
- the soft material incorporated inside the helmet absorbs some of the impact and therefore, the head comes to a halt more slowly and the brain does not hit the skull with great force.
- the force of impact is spread over a greater surface area, thereby reducing the impact felt by the head.
- the basic structure of the helmet prevents direct contact between the skull and the impacting object by acting as a mechanical barrier between the head and the skull.
As educated individuals we are all aware of all of the above, however, we all need a nudge from time to time to take stock of the way we live our lives.
We therefore organized a "Safety Awareness" week to help drive home some of the above points. May I request you all to pay special attention to the carefully designed posters placed all over the office. Please watch this space for more information everyday, and join in all the activities planned during this week.
