Dude you ride quiet close to others and i have observed in case if someone suddenly takes left or right you could be in big trouble. Hope you remember when we had gone for dinner that time kartik and i had told you not to ride so close but maintain at least 5 bike distance or ride ahead as this habit can make you and the other rider both fall in trouble.

@Utsav (and maybe Eshaan and Royd too) It is expected that you ride at least 2 seconds behind the vehicle in front at highway speeds at all times. But, during group rides, as this 2-second requirement means the group will eventually split too far apart, it is relaxed to 1 second with the added condition that you will not follow the line of the rider in front and ride in a staggered formation as shown below

And so on and so forth...

This way, all odd an even numbered riders ride behind other odd and even numbered riders(1-3-5 and 2-4-6). And since each rider is 1 second behind the rider immediately in front, he is in fact 2 seconds behind the rider whose line he is following.(each '_' means a gap of 0.5 second)

These timings however are flexible and may be raised in case of challenging riding conditions like rain / off-road / gravel where braking distances increase. Riding with these tolerances ensures that we avoid incidents involving multiple bikes crashing into each other during a group ride.

@ all - i checkedout the probiker @ MG ROAD , the glover over there are not of my palm size... and i do not want to go for too expensive gloves, please suggest some other economical store

Please, please do not buy stuff at probiker. Lots of duplicate stuff there. Try DSG or cramster.
