Guys, I need some help. Just today I came from Bangalore via Shiradi Ghats. on my Unicorn. My shoulders and butt are totally screwed. I am returning back to BLR on Tuesday and I need help with an alternative route as I cannot survive Shiradi Ghats again. How are the Charmadi Ghats now? Has anyone done that route of late?

How is the Madikeri section? Last time I came via that route, but Kushalnagar to Sampaje was back-breaking to say the least. I went back via Kudremukh but I am not sure of the road between Mudigere and Belur now, but it was good then. Any ideas?

You can ride via Madikeri if you'd like. The road is good enough to ride during the day. It is dusty and has plenty of potholes. Did a 6 hour ride to Bangalore in November and have ridden on the same route 6 times in the same month.

On my way here to mlr today, a black Karizma whoooshed past me. It was a red riding jacket and a Cross helmet with a black backpack slung behind. I think the jacket was an alpinestars. Anyone else riding up today?

@Vaishak: Ask Lateef from Torque located near Don Bosco hall enroute to Hampankatta from Jyoti and or Rafiq at Throttle at Saibeen Complex. They should have KnN or UNI or some performance air filter.
