am in if the ride is on sunday... and me 2 hav been to kudremukh a lot of times... the last one was on the passed sunday... let knw if u guys decide on some other place... hw abt agumbe??

yeah i know...many of us also have been to kudremukh a lot of times...so i guess we can rule out that place....the destination part is not that important here...it would just a fun ride...so we can decide upon it later by consulting the other riders...anyways...for the time being...the riders who are confirmed for the sundays ride, stands as follows:

Abhishek M - HH Karizma / CBZ Xtreme/ Pillion
Ashish Sharma - Royal Enfiled Thunderbird
Rahul Rao - HH Hunk
Vaishak R - Pillion
Pawan - fazer/ ?
Manjith Shenoy - Rx 100/ ? ( tentative )
Akshay M - HH CBZ Xtreme ( tentative )

even i am doubtful .i got exams from monday . and cancel my cbz from ur list abhi. i am not giving my bike to u :P

Tried posting earlier but xbhp was down.

Had been to Bekal on 25th of Dec. It was VERY HOT, HUMID!! There's no shelter there and the place was barren with little green but a lot of burnt land inside the fort. That said, Bekal beach is okay, but can get VERY crowded. Good time to hit the water is before 3PM, the place is scenic enough.

I'm out if Bekal is the location. It was quite exhausting the last time and the road was badly screwed. But if you've never been there, give it a try.

I have some personal commitments on Sunday morning. So, If there's any better location please let me know and I will re-consider.

Count me out! I just returned from Kudremukh this evening. I'd rather do a solo to Agumbe or some other unexplored place, than go to Kudremukh for the third time this month.

Had been to KDM earlier this month. May ride again soon to KDM with fresh tyres. No point in doing a group ride there again! I have a major ride coming up next month so as much as i would love to ride, another expensive 24hr ride isn't 'feasible' now. I'm open to other options. Do you know of any interesting place with some good roads to it.

Btw, are you interested in another Koda? Once you get your bike? Next month end or so?

Kerala road was under repairs AFAIK.

Thanks for the info about the conditions at the Bekal....but given the time frame..i guess i cannot think of any other places...as i have already mentioned here...the main motto of this g2g was..not ride..but it was kind of introduction for new members...the destination part if changed, i do not mind..as far as it is not above 200 kms round trip...so you can still suggest some destinations here...and probably make it for this G2G..

Im repeating same here...as far as the total round trip is not more than 200 kms..i dont mind..u too can suggest some places... but remember...there are other fellow members too who might have some other issues to ride to that destination what you have suggested..so in the end i guess we all have to agree upon the majority..or resolve the issue within our selfs..

That's what I told Abhishek when I met him yesterday, but he said Koda isn't feasible as he has to get home on time, and Ashish also can't make it for the same reason. If it's Koda, then you can blindly count me in!
