I wonder which circuit are they talking about, here. Any more details regarding the participation fees/ structure, etc.?

Aryan, i just called up three Yamaha dealers including pro centre and they were clueless about it .. i guess we will have to wait further

Just had a word with yamaha dealer, event details are:

Event date: 22nd March 2009

Event time: 9:30Am-5:00Pm

Event fee: Rs.100/-

Event address: India Exposition Mart, Greater Noida(few km after the G.noida border)

Event details are:: You have to participate only on yamaha bikes....R15, FZ 16 & Gladiator(No other bikes are allowed)

R15: Drag Race.
FZ 16 & Gladiator: Circuit Race & Slow Race.

Anybody can particpate but only on yamaha machines. You have to register your self at the nearest yamaha dealer prior the event.

Sounds tempting but haven't heard of any circuit in G. Noida. Is there one or they are going to make some temporary arrangement...of some kind

i can land mine to any one of you,
as soon as I reach Delhi

I am coming there by Bike...starting on 20 th...but not sure that i can reach till 22 nd...
by train it 18 hour journey..

do they allow me in this event as i am from Jabalpur[mp]????

Kyun nahi aaarha hai..?? This was a time to show and learn...

AnyOne any idea that whether Yamaha People would be keeping their bikes for the run up or we have bring our own.. as in the last ride tech challenge that was last year,where me,c_sbk and along with many other's also went and won !!
we had bikes given by Yamaha Only !

The Tasks Were:
Slow riding: 1 Feet broad and 8 Feet long Cut Strip of a wooden board was there you had to ride slowest on it,if you come off from that wooden piece you are out!

Fastest Slalom: The conical hazards are kept in the manner depicted in the pic attached and you have to go thru it the fastest without skipping the sequence!

Circuit Riding: A pre-defined track is there you have to it the fastest! in the same manner as it would be shown by their(Yam) one of the main rider's!

I just had a word with one of the dealer of Yamaha, and what i have understood that you need to bring our own steeds.

There will be three categories namely: Gladiator, FZ 16, R 15.

One has to fill a form available with any of the yamaha dealer, they will be providing a receipt which will be used for the particpation purpose.
