mid may is just when the passes open. roads would be getting cleared, lots of military traffic, some passes might just not be open yet...

yeah i know that, but according to the latest updates the srinagar leh route has been opened, the first convoy has just passed soon it would be open for the general traffic as well. yesterday i got the news that the BRO people are only a km away from rohtang pass so the road would be open earlier.Heaven doesn't wants me and hells afraid ill take over.Comment

^^^ yes, noticed that. It would be great to do in May due to the beautiful vistas of snow that the sorroundings offer.
BTW, guys, need an update on road conditions of NH7 upto Lakhnadon via Nagpur
and then NH 26 to Jhansi & Gwalior via Sagar.
1) two lane divider-less or 4 lane with divider
2) works under progress and bad diversions in between - how bad, how long
3) patchy roads with heavy traffic that drain time & energy
asking just for the heck of it. don't know what my plan is
