That was a nice video Manju. I would be scared to even take my hand off the handle bar at 90kmph and u were riding with 1 hand and video shooting on the other at that speed! Although it is interesting to watch the video now, at that point, it would have definitely been a safety issue.

Thanks Akhil. I think where it is right now is good. Like I said, with so many Leh threads up, I have a complex making my own thread in the Tourer section.

Akhil made sure the route from a local person and guided me about it. The route is now Krishnagiri - Roaylkottai - Denkanikottah - Anchetty - Kanakpura - Bangalore. 32Kms to Royalkottai. We took the left turn towards Royalkottai.

oops, took lil longer break to start writing this part. Was waiting to read from u ppl. Thanks Jasir and DragonRider to come up with writeup. Though Dragon's write up was like chemistry theory for me which i used to find difficulties to understand always.

Anyways fellow bikers, After we took Royalkottai turn our rock artist Coplay decided to head back solo when he got a junction where one direction lead him towards hosur. Ajay and me were the last to say bye to coplay at that junction(i forgot the junction name ). He left as he was not feeling well to continue the ride forward. Ajay and me got a chance to open the throttle a bit and catch up the team. At least I appreciate this way to open up. Riding fast to catch up the group, far way better than riding fast to leave the group

Got the group visual at front. Ajay decided to tail, so i took the lead. Was maintaining speed like 60 - 70 max. Few riders were extremely uncomfortable with this speed. I was always getting few riders on my RVMs. But was not able to see long back for other riders. Still i was not above 60. Sudhi came front and informed riders are far behind. Immediately i did slow down and realized except few riders all of our group members are seconds behind. When i stopped to gather riders i heard from on of my group member " We should come with activa or scooty, the speed we maintaining...." What sense it did make him to say this i was not clear.In a few seconds rest of the riders arrive and somebody had a fall. The flame rider had a fall. And it was very simple according to others. Nothing happen much just bike skids as flame Tyre was not to dependable plus the curve might had gravel and all. I was lil worried as soon as i heard somebody had a fall. But when the rider informed he is completely fine and nothing happen with his bike got some peace in mind. Tension moved.

Somebody told me before we start our engine, " John I am taking the lead " You ppl come behind me.I just was not able to say "NO" to him. I decided I have responsibility for 30 bike + bikers. Let him ride front I will maintain the comfortable speed for my group. And we started. Few of our speed freak riders joined with our new lead rider. After sometimes when we got another junction I just stopped. I was not comfortable to ride behind them and was not so good rider to keep up the speed with them and I felt lead rider + few who was ahead took the wrong direction from this junction. Before I took any direction I asked local ppl and they showed the correct way to go Anchetty. Satish went front to bring them back. We waited for seconds. Wheels started running again. The fantastic curvy road started. Newly tarred. awesome curve, surrounding awesome scenery was making me ( i m sure for others also) invigorate to continue the ride.

Maintaining sufficient speed to keep the group together. I was thoroughly enjoying each n every curve. Ajay was tailing and he came front and update us that few riders had to stop for petrol. We waited for them. Jasir was requesting for smoking break. Our Xenologik was with him.Told jasir we will take break at Anchetty. I completely know with a new set of Michelin Tyre how ajay could enjoyed all those curve with enough speed. For the group he did sacrifice with his throttle. I think from the behind u definitely did enjoy with all those curve. Didn't you Ajay ? But really hats off to you for taking awesome care of the group. Soon we reached Anchetty. 70 More km to reach Bangalore. Many riders were asking why we did stop there. Jasir might answered them. And definitely many riders were needed the break for snaks n all.


After a short break we keep our butts on bike and started moving......

I freakin raining all over for the past couple of hours and no signs of rain gods calling it a day....everyone rather on their cursing spree...already lost most of the sleep; dreaming about their maiden r2g

again imagine human race will perish if these 5 elements are not persent....and wat about our bike..would it run with fuel developed out of apah, fire required to ignite the engine, air....earth were we made our roads and rise to the skies at nandi and skandagiri made possible

rain is required.....everyone know wat all are the use of it, so let it rain and rain....rain so heavily and flood it, ask all the ajays, johns and the bike babas wat it feels like riding their stead when its raining

I was moved so much by his thoughts....u real encounter with the nature, bare the heat, cold and rain which is otherwise the honks, smoke and traffic.....not to fortget those mamas who lick out ur wallets

Its been a while after we rode like a group with the GIR team and testing some of our ur capability and limits of biking at the passion hunt...it was a thoughrouly enjoyed event and memories left for life....heart full of thanks for every on who been there, saw it and experience it.....followed by couple of solos and duo's by the classis duo's

come the day after long waiting....though not in mood to goto the work having taken leave before day to fix ma baby...mashing....washing changing the oil with no proper sleep left
very few hours to go and classic due are late to office it was already 6.16 pm and we're still in the maruthi sevice station, after some bashing to the service guy..finally jas bike is ready but he has to go home get ready and then reach office....too late by then 8.30 I guess

meanwhile I had tooooooo rush aswell and forgot my cam in hurry, had to login by 6.30 which never happen allthe time...late latif
at the office..I had already developed symptoms of flu for past three four days and the environ was not so good to gel with folks
some how tried to login to 2am where it was pouring heavnly heavy

back of my mind....gut it...I miss ya all the fun...no camera wat todo

not surprising...he had to extend his shift to compensate for the lost hours

5.00 at home..called up Jas again, luckily picked up...advised me to take the ORR than coming via kormangala
Hit the ring road .......it started raining heavily, it was a bad threat for all the trukers.....entire streth saw many of them go hayway, jumping the midiens, into the mories, water cloggin and freakin big jam waiting for me

road was hardly visible...for a moment I thought I saw trigger with his rtr or avin following but was in no stopping mood because of the huge traffic jam on the sarjapur road..finally reached the meeting point

We tend to prove time and again that no traffic or rain or bad roads shall stop a roadie.....so many bikes waiting to roar

jasir....like always feeling ma dragon joining the group!!

Its always dream, pride and pleasure riding along side the mean machine....this time around it was unusal terrific traffic was waiting for us to join

We had no way but to peak through the heavy vehicle and break the formation inevitabelly....halted to gather everyone and some little lust to take the pic of the entire crew atop a standing buz otherside of the road


+Had to rush fast as all riders were ready....but we had to say bye to Arjun who was heading for a holly ride...I wanted to accompany him but not at this hour so prayed with karta guruvayoorappa bliss him for a safe ride,

Leadership had decided to half for breakfast at bp plaza which has some blast from the past....memories of yercaud ride along with chennai riders

This was the same place we halted last year when we rode to Yercaud and we had to bare the fuze bornout of John
After a fast chit chat breakfast.....thanks to Sunil Sir
Recharged heavily now with a plate of dosa..poori and pongal, fed some breakfast to my dragon also which was sufficient for it go and came back to bangalore

The plaza has amazingly big space for everyone and everything!!

There was funny part.. when we reached the plaza and were parking all the bikes in a row, one yellow zma guy came and parked his vehicle reverse
I just thought he was one of the new riders and didnt know the parking rules which otherwise was a parking lot for tw's
I made him repark the vehicle in the same order we had only after he went inside the plaze and check with other team mates I realized he was not from our group




Fun apart....now some serious discussion on changing the plans
Should we go to shoolagiri or krp dam

Had we been to shoolagiri....would have had better fun...I dont think so
How could we miss all the broken bridge, damn tank bed and mundane corners

Happy to lead the group along with Akhil and reach the dam....wher we end up paying extra bucks for the entry fee, we paid the entry free for the 40 riders which we thought was okay

Enter the Damn...parking lot....OMG 6 Rs for the parking, thought he would make good money today
It was unfortunate, the parking fella was horribly sad after we decided to move from the parking area

As the saying goes.........It all ends well, its for our good

John was away on his adventureous spree only to find the beautiful tank bed

Some riders had a quick nip feel of the water and decided get ragged./.....I think the session was very good to know each other and some fortunes of dreaming big

There were lot of things doing rounds in my mind.....we had such a beautiful souls riding with....I was so much moved that I thank god and my dragon for making me part of this group
believe me this group will make a difference, reach great heights and heal the world, we'll and we all will make this place a better place to live

Hi John,

This is Ram here (TVS Flame 125cc).... I am sorry dude as my bike tyres (TVS tyres) were not up to the mark I fell from the bike. I have decided to change the tyres ASAP but don't know which one to go with...
The ride was really great an unforgettable ride and it was my first long ride for (350kms) and also it was my first night drive for +60kms alone from the daba (Kanakapura) where we stopped to have a cup of tea.

It was really a bad day for me as my tank got empty while returning back from the daba and had to push it for around 2kms to reach a petrol bunk..

Thanks a lot...........................for the amazing ride that was arranged by you.....and all others (Sunil sir, Ajay....)

Looking forward to see the video of the broken bridge (could'nt find it in any of the videos).....and also for more rides ( I mean 1 day rides) as my parents don't allow me to go for long rides..I just run away from house to join you people so have to reach home at any cost by night...else????GODDDDDDD
