@ all, Hope every one active should have got a mail from Subbu. As Sakthi (Useless one, Can't buy me a Jet from UK) is also landing, as mentioned by Subbu in the mail we shall organize a G2G, pls. pour in ur suggestions & further proceedings will be taken care by Josh.

Hello Coimbatore XBHP Friends,
This weekend we are planning to ride to Coimbatore. We are planning to ride via BLR-MYSORE- GUNDULPET-Satyamangala-OOTY-COIMBATORE.
Please suggest any other alternatives routes. We want to ride in the most scenic route.
Bengaluru, Karnataka to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu - Google Maps

Buddy, the routes that you have mentioned is likely confusing against the route shown in the map. I would not suggest the map route (being ridden it a number of a times as lately as a month back).. You can find paddy fields with its utmost vibrance green in a few places, but other than that, its just plain tarmac... and nothing scenic, except that it is a short route to Coimbatore... The route I would suggest is
1. Bangalore-Mysore-Gundalpet-Masinagudi-Ooty-Coonoor-Mettupalayam-Coimbatore..
2. Bangalore-Mysore-Nanjangudu-ChamrajNagar-Sathyamangalam-Annur-Coimbatore.
Both are equally scenic but anyday, I would prefer the Ooty-Coonoor-Masinagudi route being a native of Coonoor..

Time to ride - well almost !!!!
Guys Rec a call from our very own BODY SODA (MR SAKTHI) he is back in Blore and was very excited about being able to meet up... guess its time again to plan up a one day G2G and ride together - ATLEAST HOPING THIS TIME IT WORKS OUT.
anyways the tentative dates are 23nd or 23rd of this month. Will update plans once i get inputs from all.
