So officially here's the Itinerary for next weekend's( 9th & 10th March-2013) ride...Any Xbhpian's/newbies interested in joining for the trip can confirm before Sunday evening inorder to facilitate accommodation bookings...

Day 1-9th March
Start - 4.00 AM from Saravanampatti (Lijo,Suru,Vijay,Deepak & Gopi)
4.20 - Shanti Bunk,Singanallur(Sampath,Ram & Dinesh)
5.15 - Avinashipalayam - Karthi will join
6.30 - oddanchatiram - Tea Break
8.00 - Theni - Break fast
10.00 - Kumily ( Boat ride if time permits)
1.00 - Lunch - Kumily
3.00 - Vagamon ( Sight seeing & Stay)

Day 2

7.00 - vagamon ( Photo shoot @ green meadows)
8.15 - Vagamon ( Break fast)
10.45 - kallady ( Tea break)
12.00 - Athirapally ( Sight seeing and Lunch)
2.00 - Start from Athirapally
4.15 - Sholayar Dam ( Tea break)
6.15 - Pollachi ( Tea Break) - Karthi will split

Shanti petrol bunk as mentioned earlier.

EDIT: Sorry should have mentioned it clearer.I meant the sravanampaati team to leave from there at 4am sharp to reach Shanti bunk at 4.20. I have a feeling that the 2nd day's leg is gonna be very exhaustive and exceed the time schedule.So reaching Vagamon at the earliest and getting all the sight seeing done the same day and proceeding early the next day morning would make the ride a lot more relaxed i guess

So first day till, Vagamon it's 323 KMS, stay, and have fun.

From Vagamon to Coimbatore, some 306 KMS.

So in all 623. I guess Vagamon to Athirapally and the Cbe should be fun and a little tired at the same time, due to the twisities going up hill from Athirapally.

Let's have some fun.

- RC book Copy
- Insurance papers Copy
- PUC
- Driving license (original)

Misc

- Puncture kit for tubeless tyres
- Extra Tube for Tube Tyres
- Clutch, Throttle, Brake cables
- Any specific Biker spares

Be prepare yourself and your bike to do 1000 Kms circuit.

Will check the above items on start of the ride and may drop the persons who voids those.

Karthi... very glad to see you taking you the pain and action to expand the group and keeping it alive... wish i could have been a part of this ride too.

@ Cbe team.. Guys I've shifted base to Mumbai and now will not be a physical member of the CBE team but will always be available for any support if required. I'm now a part of the Mumbai team. Will post any plans of me coming down to Coimbatore in advance and would really be glad to have a g2g and ride together with you'll.

Bro this forum is for bikers and discussion about bikes and everyone is free to express his views and ideas but there are certain rules and certain language to be followed upon and it implies to anyone and everyone who is a member here.

Your posts and your language towards other members is 100 % not acceptable ... you do not like being told what to do... your views are yours and if for some reason you feel offended by others member's views then you are free to just avoid it or just put it in a decent way.

There are much more senior members here who are here trying to expand and keep this CBE team intact.. If you have had it with this Goddamn forum then why don't you just quit !!!!!

Please note - No one has the right to tell you what to do, same way you too don;t have the rights to express your views and crap in your language here.

Ok, If you are coming back thro the Athirapally route to Sholayar - there are certain rules to be followed / declaration regarding carrying of plastic bags / oil cans etc at the entry / exit check posts of Kerala. Think Lijo will know these rules. Pls ask him for more info. Pack stuff accordingly so that you don't waste much time at the check post. The best way is to declare 2-3 items on entry and show them when u exit. This is mandatory.

Original Driving License is not required. There is a problem in carrying the original. If it is confiscated for some reasons, you have to keep going back for it. Carrying original is always risky. Nowhere in the world is original driving license necessary. Even Royal Enfield does not ask you to bring ur originals for the Himalayan odyssey.
