The Official Hyderabad Offline Meet(G2G) Thread

Hi friends,


I am from bangalore xbhp. planning to go Jabalpur sometime pretty soon. Checked out on google maps and the route goes from Hyderabad-Nagpur. [1400kms to destination]

Was planning to start at night so that I can cover early part in the night

Is it safe to travel bangalore-hyderbad at night? Require the tips if any anyone has done it before

its quite not safe at night because the last time i traveled from bangalore to hyderabad,there were some really short curves due to road constructions..also vehicles were plying to and fro on the same lane.plus the absurd speedbreakers...if you have a very good HID and if you are travelling well within speed limits then its ok dude

How would be trip to Pocharam be? Which all places near Hyderabad (150-300km round trip) we can go for.

Route-->Hyderabad-->Bangalore-->Mysore-->Bandipur-->Ooty and back.

It would be a 5 day trip (might be extended to 6 days as per need)

Planning to do the trip by the end of July...
Would give a confirmation once the dates are finalized

As of now only Me & Shashi are in along with two of my office colleagues.

Firstly we planned for Vizag but we have postponed it as Araku would not be in full bloom in this time of the year...

Let me know if any one is interested.

Taking average of 40kmpl, you would need 45 lts of petrol...
So only fuel would cost you around 3k.
Accomodation we would be going for budget hotels (around max of 500rs per day per person) so you can work it out for the final price

Start date is 15th July and return date is 19th (It would be 20th in case if we take an extra day)

Day 1: Start at around 3:30am and do the first 300 - 400kms at the earliest (if it doesnt rain) Plan to rest for night at Mysore if we can cover the complete distance in one day.

Day2: Start to Ooty and ride leisurely enjoying the jungles of Bandipur and ghats of Coonoor/Ooty. Rest for Night

Day 3: Roam around Ooty.
Rest for Night

Day 4: Start back to Bandipur... Go to Bandipur wild safari and stay at Bandipur forest guest house at night.

Day 5: Start back to Hyderabad very early in the morning.

We can incorporate one more day if dil maange more at any of the places or we could not cover much distances due to rain.

very interesting and tempting.. i have the ride and the cash and was waiting from a long time to go to banglore on my p220.. will see if i'm clear of imp stuff on those dates and let u know by tomm.. so guess i'm 55% coming
