For the rear he has 130 / 70 - 17 only.

there is a tyre shop just next to AH helmet and a shop on SV road near Ram Mandir. do check with them if you can go there

Condition of Mumbai -Pune old NH4

Hi there,

Please render some advice.

I am planning a return trip from Rajkot to Pune in December. Only this time, I plan to do it in one shot, no night stay in Surat. My steed is a CBR 250.

I plan to start at around 5 AM from Rajkot. Assuming a ride time of about 20 hours, I would be at the Fountain Hotel by about 7 or 8 PM. Ergo, I would need to ride the old NH4 to Pune at night.

How are the conditions on this road at night, friends? Has any of us done this route as recently as in the past 1 month, who would be in the best position to comment on road conditions?

You can contact any motor training school guy or a car dealer as they also work as RTO agents or have links with RTO officials.

I did the Mumbai-Pune/NH-4 route a couple of weeks back. The roads are doable although don't expect to be doing triple digits during the initial 15kms or so. Might get a little cold during the night though. Ride safe!

Even I did Pune - Mumbai - Pune in the Diwali week, few bad patches near Panvel due to road construction it was all dusty, I reached there in the evening, I did not take the Panvel City route instead I went straight on JNPT road (Although not sure what road that was asked one of the local guy and he suggested me to take that route) and then after one toll booth took right and straight road took me to flyover of Kalamboli where the express-way starts, you can try this road if you want to. Road condition is good but not that great. After Panvel till Khopoli road condition is good, speed depending upon the extent of traffic. After Lonawala its a typical NH4.

Thanks for the tip. I contacted an agent who has a small shop outside the RTO itself. He has done the job for me.

Anyway, does anyone know which Honda dealer in Mumbai if offering a test ride of the CBR250R and which Yamaha dealer is offering a test ride of the R15 v2.0?

^^ Don't most dealers offer a test ride for the CBR?

Well anyways, the OM Sai Honda, Malad West dealer offers a test ride. Just before that is the Yamaha showroom as well so you can check for the R15 V2.0 test rides.
PS: They never gave a test ride of the R15 V1.0 earlier so don't know if they will for the V2.0.

Btw, Anyone up for a ride tomorrow?
