best way to not damage your paint : run with tube if there is a leak.

That's what I have done this happened during Ashtvinayak ride till now haven't got a chance to fix it..

Check with him, he helped my friend getting his FZ's bend rim in perfect condition. Dont remember the cost. But am sure wot be much. Tell him my reference so that he wont charge you more .

hi guys

i am planning to go to hyderabad on 29th december. does anyone know the road condition (NH 9 it will be all the way)?? my tentative plan is given below:-

29th:- leave from Thane / Mumbai around 3-4 am. try to reach hyderabad before sunset. visit some places if possible.

30th:- visit as many places in hyderabad as possible. take rest there in the evening.

31st:- leave from hyderabad as early in the morning as possible. reach home to celebrate new years party.

I know its a bit hectic plan, but we have sunday on 1st jan. so its a reserve day. the only reason in coming back on 31st is to celebrate the new years party at home. but the option of doing it in HYD is open

please let me know if anyone interested.
please let your suggestions rain in about the mentioned plan above.

NH9 is being redone as a part of the East West Corridor project. I rode from Solapur to Pune, and there are A LOT of trucks in the route, A LOT of Diversions, A LOT of Single Lane stretches.


You are better off navigating via Mumbai - Phaitan - Pandharpur - Solapur

I guess its Phaltan, right?? will surely check that route also. and yes even i had a little idea about Pune - Solapur strech being redone and its not in a good conditions. so actually i was about to start searching for de-tour of that route. thanks for the guidelines. also, i have come to know from some other sites that Solapur - Hyderabad strech is good.

Konkan Trip

Me and one of friend are riding to kokan this week due to some work here's the plan

Leave Mumbai on 24th morning and reach Devgad
25th: Vijaydurg - Kunkeshwar - Malvan
26th: Malvan - Tarkarli - Devbaug
27th: Sawantwadi (personal work) - Mumbai

Total of around 1200kms or so

Total estimated expenses around 3.5K p/p including fuel

Route - NH17 all the way

hi guys,

i have already posted about my plan to ride to Hyderabad. Wellllll, it seems I have to drop Hyderabad as now it is confirmed that road that is NH 9 is not at all in a good condition. especially Pune - Solapur stretch Even Solapur via Phaltan - Pandharpur is not that good

so, please suggest some other destination or better still, we can have our much talked about mega ride btw 29th to 31st december.

My proposed destination now is Bijapur in Karnataka. Google it for more details. and also, if we get more time (that is 1st Jan also) then Mumbai - Bijapur - Hampi - Mumbai can be done. I guess on this route only Bijapur - Hampi stretch have average sort of roads, else its good. What Say???
