Did you pay a visit to Doodhgiri or Gira Doodh waterfalls in Waghai? The road from Saputara till Waghai is simply awesome and could be a cornering heaven as well. Me and my friend had been there in july and unfortunately the rains hadn't reached Gujarat by then, so the water fall was dry. But I have seen the pics of the waterfall and they are simply awesome!!

No I couldn't go. But will go next. Thanks. Didn't research on the net on Saputara and adjoining areas before I left. Was a decision made on impulse. Packed my tank bag and left

Ride to Ajanta Caves & Lonar Crater Lake

Since I have a long weekend coming up, I am planning to ride to Ajanta & Lonar on 5th - 7th Nov'11

I have not planned not much but few details which I can pen down are as follows:

Day 1 - Thane to Ajanta - 437 kms + Ajanta caves + Sight Seeing + Stay [Via NH3 & NH6]
Day 2 - Ajanta to Lonar - 158 kms + Lonar Crater Lake + Sight Seeing + Stay [ via SH178 & SH176]
Day 3 - Lonar to Thane - 487 kms - Return journey [Nagpur - Aurangabad - Mumbai Hwy]

So far only Deepan is Tentative. If anyone willing to join, let me know
