Re: The Official Mumbai Offline Meet(G2G) Thread
Hey Apritam! You planning on a ride to Mahabaleshwar? I think this is the best time as the weather is very pleasant. Not too hot and not too cold. The weather on the Eastern side of the western ghats is damn nice. Immediately after crossing Lonavala the weather was cool all the way till Mahabaleshwar. The roads are pretty good. NH4 is in excellent condition as usual but damn boring. The fun starts from Wai. Some of the roads that lead up to Mahabaleshwar are not paved very well so my bike was rattling like crazy and so had to reduce speed. Coming Back down the ghats was pure fun lots of leaning in and out through the twisty's as the road was in condition. And as Sushant mentioned you'll have to keep your eye out for the random villagers darting across the road especially near Wai.Originally posted by I_Live2Ride View PostHi, please provide an update on the Mumbai- Mahabaleshwar road conditions.

Hi Ashwin.. thanks for the info on NH4... Umm I am a bit confused.. Looks like you went via Pune... I want to know the road conditions from Mblswr to Mumbai via NH17.. Did you take the Mumbai- Pen- Mahad- Mblswar route or the one via Khalapur? Any cops/ vehicle check post enroute?Originally posted by easy rider View PostHey Apritam!
