In my opinion it would be better to check the speed at which we travel and not other things as mentioned earlier

Eh, I think even if one falls at the speed of 10kmph..he is going to get hurt some way or the other..
So, keeping the speed in check , imo all the above mentioned safety gear is very important.

yes riding gear is important no doubt... but speeed is also a concern..


but the saddest part is..... of all the crashes iv had * refer experiences by DK spidy or MG n others who knw on y they call me "launchpad " or have a play pause precision audio explaination by MR.Calvin ...


all my crashes were below the speed of 20kmph!!! n near mishaps.... well i dnt want to count them!!

the point being :

1: No matter hw skilled u are , things jus go wrong in a giffy!!!
2: nvr rry pushin ur self too hard to the limits.
3: Disaster management n group etiquettes have to in place.


focussing too much on worldly things like gears n speed wudnt do much good.... check for common sense n that factor which will help u gt out of tricky scenarios.... ofcourse gears n speed are important factor for savin ur nuts n the head...

but rest as every puts it.....
jus be gentle on the throttle n the curves!




n bout the meetin for the guys in the g2g..... worli n places... hmm nt a very goood idea..... 14th ..weekend . plus simmering tensions in the city n the biker gang * read gangs*

it gives all the possible requirements for gettin in trouble wit the cops..

il post a new thread on our scenario of the same version on hw as ketan mentioned attracted cops while stunting n drag groups into all this , n wat all it takes to get out of it!!

@ All Mumbai xBhpians: would recommend that you attend Spidy's session in full force. See if you can make it this Saturday
Of late, there have been incidents amongst the xBhpian circle that have made all of Pune gang to take notice and do something about. What was discussed the other day revolved around the following
1. Discipline
2. Responsibility
3. Preparedness
4. Protocols

One thing that Spidy has already written and that needs to be reiterated is that all rules apply to all members. Not even senior members would be spared of disciplinary action if there is any complacency.

I would also request my fellow xBhpians from other circles around India to get in touch with me (PM me for my cell number).
We are in the process of drafting a procedure and rule guide that we intend getting reviewed(by MODs and Seniors) and publishing it PAN India.

All lavasa rides to be cancelled for a month

ATTENTION ALL:
The Lavasa police have requested all riders to refrain from riding to Lavasa for at least a month if not more. The postmortem report and the police investigation carried out following the death of a young biker in Lavasa last Sunday suggest that the accident could have very well been a hit-and-run case. Hence while the police dig deeper to find the culprit, they have requested bikers to cancel all Lavasa rides.

Please pass on the word to all fellow bikers.

There are certain rules and important discussion on the Saturday meet... I will not barge into those for now...

Post all of you agreeing to those point, we are planning to ride to lonavala on Sunday (21st) ...
I would be riding for and with xBHP and for another group, and ofcourse for myself. I am hoping to see a lot of 'us'-Bikers who would continue not only to ride sane, but also ride safe, and most importantly promote road safety by action and not just words!

First of foremost, I need you guys to quote and start updating the following Emergency Contact List. Download this, update your information and reupload it back here... and the next one will download the last file and move on. If you want you can write the name of your buddies @ xBHP on thier behalf ONLY with due authorisation.

If your name is not in the list, you are NOT riding with xBHP for any rides, plain and simple!
