hmmmmmm.

it happened on JVLR before 2nd signal(i use this route each and every day when i ride my bike)
it was like any normal day with traffic of cars and buses.
in traffic I follow overtaking rule very religiously (no matter what,overtake from right only!).But this same rule proved costly to me.

There was tempo in front of me, i took a right to overtake.oh s**t truck is parked on right side of road planting trees on road(with one man and only one cone ). i might doing 50-55 that time, no time to break tried to push on left but then tempo was already present there, went on to hit the truck's rear tyre.

This accident could have been even more fatal.thank god my limbs are in place, with only one small scratch on left leg(still paining.)
Helmet took all the impact.


my friends think 80% it was my mistake........but i think can be 50% i should have been little slow but i was moving with traffic speed only.

I don't know what went wrong that time....... Damn that BMC truck
or maybe i was in a hurry to watch Wallstreet movie.

If yes what all needs to be there to be fully geared apart from Jacket, jeans, helmet and shoes (kinda showing my noobness here )

Me luckily was successful in avoiding the accident by an inch. Or else I would have not been here typing a reply or posting on xbhp from HELL.

Or say God just wanted me to live

I hope both of you are safe & sound. Man when with GF ride a bit carefully, coz if anything happens, she'll hate you for life.

yes that is kinda the point of the meet..to meet the newbies...
apart from ur gear u need ur papers..atleast copies of RC card / book, PUC and insurance covernote / papers xerox...

Thanks guys... Have a Levis Biker Jacket (Double layered and arms closed) but not a Kevlar one. Rest all I have. Any idea how much would it cost?

Hey bro I am happy that you made it safe and sound !! ... Even I use that road daily to reach my office but in the early hours around 8am or so when the traffic is not that irritating ..... And regarding whose mistake it was, I think if we analyze properly we will find that its was a grave mistake of both the BMC truck for not placing diversion sign boards well ahead and yours for being a bit speedy ..... but on a lighter note I would say, this thing had to happen so it did and your parents blessings saved you from it .... A lesson learnt hard way will always be with you to avoid any such incidents in future ... even I have had such narrow horrifying escapes like spidy shared ... so I avoid overtaking any heavy vehicle till I am completely sure & the driver has given me a clean signal to do so !!

headlight completely smashed and right side fairing broked and was thrown away.
Thank god i was wearing my helmet, otherwise god knows what would have happened.

Acc to estimate karcha would be 12000(+or-).had a appointment from SVC today to claim insurance,don't know how much time it will take.
I had only one scratch on left foot.(i should have worn shoes that time).

I hate that road too. Its my daily route, freaking that rode changes everyday.
