Yesterday had an amazing ride back with my r15 tyre being so bad that it took a nasty puncture that kept opening every 25KMs.. so after some 7 puncture fixes got fed up and ended patching up the tyre! #Thanks Winsey for rachits number, and thanks Rachit for helping me out at Airoli!

What time did you head back to Mumbai? Biru and I hit Pune at some 10am (I think). We were planning on meeting you guys at Lonavala (we were told you guys were heading there) but when we called, we found out that only Vishwas and one other had reached Lonavala; so Biru went home and I rode back to Mumbai solo.

highlight of the ride was TenHut clocking 299 on his fireblade!!!

reached pune to greet and meet the sloshed pune folks :P helped them reach to a safe place.. #Thanks DevenPD for the ride from Wakad bridge to MotoCafe

Then had a nice ride with the pune folks to MahaB on my Aaaargh15.. highlight of the ride was TenHut clocking 299 on his fireblade!!!

Came back and cooked awesome meal :P missed the mumbai xBHPians (lie :P) ... had a super feast of sorts!

Then finally a crazy ride back to home to avoid traffic and low light riding (no headlights on the R15) ensuring I reached home (50KMs) in an hour...! (Might seem slow to some ripperz, but do consider the traffic @thane and the poor patched work road uptill vasai...)

WOW what an eventfull day sirjee.... when are u planning to get Aaaargh15 in shape???

Tyres status is single with a micro puncture, will get the Pirellis installed this week!

Its internals are fixed, next in line a new rear tyre (already booked) and then a new wiring line... and then may be sell it

bugger satyen---instead you should have just come for the yam camp.

mighty useful it was for me as yam engineers were present.

most of my woes now resolved.just tell me now where would I get the front tyre at el cheapo cost.

Shites, I should have called whilst in Pune! Could have ridden back with you (or crawled back from the sound of it :-P ). Biru and I had done an overnight run from Gokarna, which is why I was EXHAUSTED by the time we hit Pune. Decided to break at Lonavala for a bit and then do the rest in one go. Got back to Mumbai at around 3:30ish I think.

Headlamps - had HID installed, one of them were dead. Now our good SVC tried force fitting the stock lamps, leading to the relays being burnt.. so all in all.. either the relay gone, or need to re check the wiring...

Tyre - the patch kept coming off, due to the odd crack and the tyre wear... so every time i replied- it meant there was a puncture being fixed

Need to run till run-in

Hey guys
Would surely like to join you guys for future rides once my Engine run-in is done.
Still 2000kms to go, hope to do it in 3 weeks.

Till then anybody interested in Engine run-in G2Gs @ 50kmph.

P.S- Hey guys where do I update my details for G2Gs. Any kind off ICE sheet??

This is the only place where planned & sudden g2g's take place. Just keep an eye here. When the g2g's/rides are initiated, just put your name in. Provided the other safety rules are complied. And yeah.. Congrats for your new bike.!!
