can anyone confirm if the HID ballast can be repaired or not?

or does it need to be replaced if conked out

better to replace it as the ballast is normally a sealed unit,the inside consists of mostly silicon filling that prevents the circuit from getting effected from shocks.

Sadly, I don't think anyone has got that, by the time I got my camera fired up, the show was over and the baboon was going away with his tail between his legs ... and I think all of us were just, like, 'HUH? What's going on?'

Firstly good to see you active after so many months.

Cleaning a G2G thread is almost impossible and some kind of unofficial discussion and chit chat is ok for a G2G thread,keeps the interest alive. When its goes over the top then certain actions are taken for example two members from Mumbai were banned by a fellow moderator and similarly Pune thread was closed for a day.

For weekend G2G like the one you are proposing can be made as a separate thread which we always do.

Btw I was about to post a plan for Mumbai-Pune overnight G2G but you have already proposed one. December first week is ideal for me. Let's see what others have to say about it. Will make a new thread soon.

Hi guys

Been reading through the last couple of pages, i guess many members are planning rides for the coming weekend. I'm game for a quick ride(<500kms both ways) on Sat 6th Nov (5th and 7th not possible hence 1day ride restriction). PM me if you don't mind an automatic tagging along .

I know i am digressing away from the point here but today while coming to work an interesting event took place. I was on S.V. road in santacruz when got pulled over by cops for a routine check(bandobast), after showing all the documents the cops let me go. Just as I started my dio I saw the cops pulling over two guys on an activa. The guys slowed down but as soon as they passed the barricade they started to speed away. I saw this one cop running behind them trying to grab the pillion's collar and missing by just a couple of inches. I quickly signalled the cop to hop on my Dio and he did. Then we chased the activa till some 500 meters till I was able to box the "uncle's" on the activa. The cop took away their keys and booked them. He thanked me and i was off. Nice experience, made my day!!

regarding what u guys r chatting about wearing helmet...i have little bit to share wid u...yesterday..at upvan lake..i came there at 7pm exactly..no 1 was there at that time...den i saw 1 guy wid helmet and bike waiting at the decided place..i went to him..n asked ...X-BHP??? he said ''yes''...so we chatted about who else is coming and all that..suddenly the guy..punit..asked me...'' u dont have helmet?? i said ''no''...so he told me the guys r very strict about protocols....so i went home again...n came with shoes n helmet....what i want to suggest...is '' ........A RULE IS A RULE.......despite of who u r... and i like it..heeeee
